THEME:“PURPLE! If we had to put a label on it, our day was rustic and vintage.” – K

LOCATION: Beaverdale Golf Club (♥) (golfnorth.ca/ beaverdale) Cambridge, ON “We wanted the rustic feeling of a barn, without the added novelty charge. It was beautiful inside and out and had all the room that we needed; at a great price to boot.” – K

PHOTOGRAPHY: Mirror Form Photography (mirrorformphoto.com) “We chose Mirror Form not only because she has an artistic eye for capturing the most beautiful photos but also because she is an acquaintance of ours. She believes in love and you can see that captured in her work! Meghan is so lovely to work with. She is confident in her abilities, but so down to earth and easy going.”- K

BIGGEST CHALLENGE: “The biggest challenge for us was deciding on guest list. Rob and I both have large families with blended sides which creates a lot of people you want to be invited. We decided we would split the guest list into ceremony and dinner guests, and a separate list for just the dancing and party. It was a great compromise and a way to still have everyone we wanted there to celebrate with us, but also keep our budget reasonable.” -K

ADVICE, ONE BRIDE TO ANOTHER: “Never take for granted a single moment of life because you never know what tomorrow brings! Our family suffered a great tragedy just a week out from the wedding. My brother went missing and was found 3 days later passed away. It was the most difficult decision for us to move forward with the wedding given the unthinkable sadness our families were going through. I am happy to say with the support of our families and the help, caring and understanding from all our vendors, especially Beaverdale Golf Club, that our day was a reminder of love and family and how important it is to just be with each other, through the happy times and the sad ones. I know my brother was there with us through the entire day, and it was such a wonderful, happy, love filled day that our family so needed at the time.” – K
