A LAKESIDE WEDDING LOVE STORY:
“After a few missed connections, in February 2020 we finally made plans to meet up on what turned out to be…the coldest day of the year! Fortunately, our connection wasn’t as frosty. We continued to see each other, and pretty quickly, we both knew we had found our forever person. When the time came to make it official and start planning a wedding, we knew we wanted to make a bit of a production of it. We both dressed to the nines, hired a live band, choreographed our first dance, and made sure to choose a photographer that could capture all our moments of love and joy.” – L
CEREMONY & RECEPTION LOCATION: The Henley Room “As soon as we visited the Henley Room on a site tour, we were blown away by how beautiful and versatile the space was. Not only did it give us access to an outdoor dock for the ceremony, it also provided a bright and spacious reception area with lake views, and a more intimate, speakeasy vibe bar and lounge just off to the side. It was perfect for our lakeside wedding” – L&J

FAVOURITE MEMORY“Our first dance! We secretly took dance classes and had choreography that went with our chosen song. Practising our dance was a really fun activity while working through all the other wedding details, and hearing the claps and cheers from our friends and family when we showed off our spins, dips, and even a lift, is something we’ll never forget.” – L&J
ADVICE FROM ONE COUPLE TO ANOTHER: “Don’t be afraid to ask for advice and recommendations! Ask friends and coworkers. Read magazines and blogs and keep a look out for what vendors other people use. Wedding planning and the endless number of details can feel overwhelming, but seeing what other people have done can help you narrow things down faster. ” – L
