Taylor and Kailey wanted a rustic fall wedding and Beaverdale Golf Club (golfnorth.ca/beaverdale) was just the place to showcase that feeling. With loads of DIY they were able to carry their fall theme thru every aspect of their big day!…
Bride & Groom: Taylor & Kailey Jefferson
Wedding Date: October 7, 2017
Ceremony & Reception Location: Beaverdale Golf Club(golfnorth.ca/beaverdale) ” We loved the rustic feel and the old barns that are in the back of the property.” – K&T

Colour Palette: Plum and Champagne
Theme: “Rustic. My husband is native and a hunter. We both like the outdoors so we incorporated antlers, pumpkins, wooden cupcake tiers for our center pieces, etc.” – K
Flowers: My Flower Shop in Cambridge (myflowershop.ca) “We used lilies and daisies in white and plum and we also incorporated some wheat.” – K
DIY: “We did our décor ourselves. We used pumpkins, antlers, flowers, candles, string lights, wooden cupcake tiers and burlap. We also took on our favours and candle holders” – K
Fav décor element: “Everything! But if I had to choose one thing it would be my center pieces.” – K
Invitations/stationery: Vistaprint (vistaprint.ca)
Cake: “My cousin Laura made our cake and she is amazing at what she does!” – K
Wedding favours: “They were little mason jars of honey with burlap and plum ribbon around them with a tag that said “Meant To Be”” – K
Groomsmen and Groom’s attire: “Taylor wore a black tuxedo with a plum tie. The groomsmen wore a black tuxedo with a plum vest and plum tie, and each of the boys including Taylor had a pocket watch that we bought for them.” – K
Bridesmaids attire and accessories: “They wore plum chiffon dresses that went to the floor, and a necklace that we gifted to them to wear for the wedding.” – K
Bride’s dress and accessories: ” I wore a princess dress with sparkle in the underlay of the dress, and a beaded belt with a flower on it. I had pearl earrings that my mother-in-law let me use.” – K
Hair & make-up: Gravity Hair Design (gravityhairdesign.com)
Photographer: LoveSprouts Photography (lovesproutsphotography.com) “We found them at a bridal show. We chose them because of the good reviews we had read and when we met both Adam and Christian they were very outgoing and easy to talk to. We just knew they would be the best fit for us. It was so easy to work with them and they made it feel like the camera wasn’t even there. They made us feel so comfortable which is huge because Taylor isn’t a picture person. My favourite part of our photos is how they captured us; it felt very natural and very us. They captured the rustic and outdoor feel so perfectly.” – K&T
Biggest Challenge: “Everyone’s opinions! I tackled it by taking everything into consideration and used a lot of their ideas but also reminded them of my opinions as well since it was my wedding. I was so thankful for all of their help though.” – K
Fav wedding memory: “Absolutely everything! I can’t pick just one thing. It was the most PERFECT day!” – K
Advice from one bride to another: “Breathe! People are going to get on your nerves, just always remember they are just trying to help. Take the help since you can’t do everything on your own. Take everything in! You blink and everything is over. People always say that but they are so right. Just take in every moment and every bump in the road, and don’t sweat the small stuff!” -K
