Tell us your story!: “I met my husband on Facebook, over a mutual friends post. The post had been about an accident that had happened in our town of a police chase that ended badly when the driver hit a pole on the side of the road killing him and his girlfriend. So as sad as it was that two people lost their lives that day, it also brought two people together.

The day we got married it was the exact date of our 8-year anniversary since we met. I wanted to be married on the exact date we met, so our wedding anniversary and day we met were the same dates! Kyle is the man of my dreams, before him, I didn’t know true happiness. I was in an abusive relationship, and Kyle was the person who showed me what true love is and saved me. He showed me what real respect was and how I should be treated like a queen!

Our 9 year anniversary (1 year married anniversary) just passed on May 15th, and still to this day I still find it so hard to believe I found the man of my dreams, and that I am lucky enough to be his wife. I couldn’t imagine my life without him or our 2 boys Troy & Damian. They made me the woman I am today, and I couldn’t be happier!” – A

Biggest Challenge: “Our biggest challenge was having a wedding that we and our guests all had to drive 2-3 hours, some guests 4 hours, just to get there. We live in Orillia, but our wedding was in Niagara. We had to book everything over the phone and have hotels ready and booked for everyone to stay in the same hotel. Then all of us be down there the day before, and not forget anything we needed for the wedding, dresses, tux, shoes, etc. But we did it together and had lots of help from friends and family.” – A

Best Memory: “My best memory was seeing my husband and my brother up at the altar tear up the minute they saw me for the first time coming down the aisle.” – A
