Lean and Josh's fall wedding at Forest City National Golf Club was a beautiful reminder that the best wedding days aren't about perfection - they're about the people you love most. Surrounded by the rich autumn colours along Fanshawe Lake, the couple celebrated with 120 guests, a navy and burgundy palette, and dried florals that complemented the season. After four years together and a romantic proposal overlooking the ocean in Mexico, their October wedding brought their love story full circle, with on very special guest stealing hearts: their dog, Marvin, who proudly served as their "best boy." Even with the rain falling for much of the day, the skies cleared just in time for lakeside portraits, creating a picture-perfect backdrop for a celebration filled with warmth, laughter, and a whole lot of love.

TELL US YOUR STORY!: "Josh and I were together 4 years when we got married, we met one night at a bar in our town, and we kept running into each other after that, it felt like the universe was pushing us together. Things were always easy between us, and we quickly became serious. He proposed in December of 2022 when we were in Mexico, out on a beautiful dock on the ocean. At the time of planning our wedding, we'd already bought our first home together, and had our dog Marvin, who of course was in our wedding as best boy.
By the time we were heading home from out Mexico trip, my mom had already lined up several venues for us to go visit the following week (she was very excited!). When planning a wedding, I honestly thought I'd be way more stressed than I was, but I think if you're marrying the right person, you quickly realize that the small details don't matter that much, it's all about the people you surround yourself with. I knew early on that Josh was the love of my life, and nothing seemed to matter beyond that.
On our wedding day, I can't event begin to convey how many people told me they'd never seen such a calm bride, and I deeply believe that if you're with the right person, you won't feel those classic wedding day nerves. Of course as fas as October weather went, it rained almost the entire day, but somehow let up right when we went outside to take pictures with the lake and fall trees in the background. Everything went off without a hitch, and I can say that for a long time, it was the happiest, most perfect day of my entire life." - L
BRIDE'S ATTIRE: Lavender Bridal
GROOM + GROOMSMEN ATTIRE: Moores Clothing
BRIDESMAIDS ATTIRE: "My bridesmaids were given the option to pick our any dress from anywhere they wanted, as long as it was the right colour, I wanted everyone to feel confident in what they wore." - L

BIGGEST CHALLENGE: "Trying to make all friends and family members feel included, I didn't want anyone feeling like they were left out or that their opinions didn't matter. As much as it was a day about Josh and I, I wanted everyone to fee like they were a part of bringing everything together. I asked a lot of different people to help in their own small ways, from hair and makeup ideas, to wedding decor. We actually ended up sharing wedding decor with a long time friend of mine, we got married the following summer." - L
BEST MEMORY: "Walking down the aisle and seeing Josh waiting for me. When he took my hands he said with the biggest smile, 'I'm not nervous', and it felt like we were the only two people in the world up there." - L
ADVICE FROM ONE COUPLE TO ANOTHER: "It's not meant to be a stressful process, you should enjoy it and trust that everything will fall into place on you big day. If things do go wrong, no-one attending your wedding will ever be the wiser." - L
