Thisrustic barn wedding in St. George, Onatrio, was a heartfelt celebration of high school sweethearts Trinidy and Nash. After meeting in Grade 11 English class, the couple built eight years of memories together before tying the know on their own property, surrounded by 100 of their closes family and friends. With forest green, rustic orange, denim, cowboy boots, and plenty of country charm, their wedding reflected their personalities in every detail.
From an outdoor ceremony overlooking the pond to a barn reception they helped renovate themselves, the day was full of personal touches - including their beloved dog, Baylee, as a ring bearer. And in true full-circle fashion, the couple's love story came back to one of their favourite places when Nash proposed at the very ice-skating ring where they had shared their first date.
COUPLE: Trinidy & Nash
DATE: September 20, 2025
GUEST #: 100
LOCATION: Private Property "We always pictured having a barn wedding as we both loved the look, so when we moved to St. George and we had a barn on the property we knew it would be perfect. Having our venue on our property gave us the opportunity to personalize everything to us for our special day, because we had to renovate the barn, so we got to choose details most couples don't get the chance to make, down to the colour of stain and the layout. We got the chance to place things and rearrange if we didn't like it.
Our ceremony was outside with the pond as our background it was truly beautiful. Our reception was in the barn and it was perfect and everything we wanted and more. The thing we loved most about our wedding being on the property was that it gave us an opportunity to include our dog Baylee, he was our ring bearer and he got to be apart of our first dance. I was perfect for us." - T&N
PHOTOGRAPHER: Rebecca Sprau Photography "We met Rebecca at a bridal show and we instantly fell in love with her work, it was exactly what we were looking for, her editing style was the perfect match for us. Rebecca and her partner Tracy were amazing, they were so fun and full of creativity. Their personalities fit in perfectly with us.
Our favourite part was the lightness of it. There wasn't a lot of posing to make the 'perfect' photo. Everyone felt comfortable and free to be their silly self and Rebecca and Tracy captured those fun memories for us to look back on forever. We honestly could not have found a better photographer, we continue to rave about how amazing our photos turned out!" - T
COLOUR PALETTE: Forest Green, Rustic Orange & Neutrals "Our theme was rustic/country and the barn was the perfect venue to sell the look. Our centrepieces were wooden slabs, glass cowboy boots vases, picture frames with county love song, candles and a rustic table number holder.
Our groomsmen wore jeans and matching trucker hats, our whole wedding party wore cowboy boots. Nash wore a cowboy hat, and I had a custom denim jacket and our guests joined in on the look by wearing denim in all sorts of ways - jeans, dresses, jackets accompanied with cowboy boots and hats." - T
TELL US YOUR STORY!: "Nash and I are high school sweethearts, we met in our grade 11 English class which happened to be the only class we ever had together. Our first interaction was honestly a hallmark move worthy scene. Nash was eating Pringles across the room when he dropped one on the floor and instead of bending down and picking it up with his had he decided to try and use his foot, which only ended in a crushed chip all over the floor, which then lead to the teacher banning food from the classroom.
I looked up at him and our eyes met and stayed locked for what felt like forever. Our story started that day. We started off as friends, he was the class clown making me laugh constantly, we then started eating lunch together, hanging out and talking to each other every day. Our friendship turned into more after Nash asked me out. We had our first date ice skating at harmony square where I fell right on my butt, Nash picked me up held my hands and skated me around the rink. Skating quickly became one of our favourite things to do together so we made it an annual date. little did I know that spot would be the place Nash dropped down on one knee and proposed!
We have now been together for eight years, he is without a doubt the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. In that time we have watched each other grow into the people we are now. We have supported each other through education, sports, careers, and hard times. We have found peace in each other, created a safe place in the arms of one another." - T

BEST MEMORY: "Our wedding was full of so many amazing memories. The day was absolutely perfect so it's hard to pick just one. One memory that we love is when we called up each table individually to take a funny/silly picture with us then we finished with a Birds Eye view photo or all our guests with us. Was a great way to get our guests involved and they still talk about it to us." - T
ADVICE FROM ONE COUPLE TO ANOTHER: "Schedule to have a moment for you and your partner, no matter how long it is it may turn our to be your favourite memory.
Remember on the day, your guests don't know what you've planned or how everything is going to go. So if something doesn't go to plan do not let it ruin your special day. Roll with it and keep smiling, your day will be perfect no matter what." - T
