DETAILS: For wedding coordinators Cayla and Shannon, a new year means a new opportunity to show off the beautiful venue that is Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory. “With lush foliage and tropical butterflies, the Conservatory as a ceremony space speaks for itself, but we were excited to show wedding couples what our reception space can transform into. To show how magical our space is, we worked with an amazing team of experienced vendors who work with us to bring our wedding couples’ personal styles and visions to life.”
The neutral reception space allows for many design options and colours. Tanya Wormsley from AWE Events chose dusty rose, a popular request this season. “I knew it would look soft and elegant next to their new vineyard chairs which are a classic and yet trendy addition to the space. The dreamy chiffon beautifully accented the brick wall and framed the sweetheart table perfectly.”
Brandy King from La Petite Fleur chose florals on the softer side to compliment the dusty rose décor. “I chose some wintery accents but blush and white is certainly a year-round palette and easily paired with other things to tie it to any particular season.”
The Conservatory is an enchanting venue year-round and offers truly unique photo opportunities: a cascading waterfall, backdrops of tropical foliage, as well as outdoor perennial gardens, and acres of wildflower meadows.
