"Level 9 Google Local Guide 43 million plus views We recently attended a wedding at Ball’s Falls Conservation Area, and the venue was absolutely breathtaking , especially the barn and the chapel. The natural surroundings made for stunning photos and a beautiful atmosphere. That said, there were a couple of things to keep in mind if you’re considering this venue , especially in cooler weather. ✍️The barn is not heated, and even though the wedding was at the end of May, we found ourselves reaching for coats to stay warm. It definitely impacted the comfort level for guests, especially older family members. Also, the washrooms are a bit of a walk from the barn, which was challenging for some of our elderly guests (in their 70s and 80s). 💡 A few tips if you’re attending or planning an event here: • If your event is during the cooler months (even in late spring or early fall), dress warmly or consider bringing extra layers. • For hosts: If budget allows, consider renting space heaters or letting guests know ahead of time about the temperature. • If accessibility is a concern, it may help to arrange for closer washroom options or support for elderly guests. Overall, the location is stunning, the chapel was intimate and peaceful, and the barn has so much rustic charm. With just a bit more attention to guest comfort, this would be a perfect five star venue. ☺️☺️🥰"

"A beautiful hike at the Balls Falls Conservation area. Facilities are clean. Wasn't too busy which was nice. We took the main trails but also went off trail to extend our hike and explore. We explored the upper and lower balls falls from the top of each of the falls and from the bottom. Water was pretty low which was likely due to not having rain for a while."

"Fantastic hike to the Upper Falls. It is very easy and doable for hikers of all levels. There are many little things to see along the way, so while the hike should only take 30-60 minutes, it can take longer because of how much you stop to check out the cool things. The old time village was interesting, but all the buildings were closed when I was there (end of April). It would be cool to see inside of them, I'm not sure if it's open at other times of the year. Looking forward to going back with my family."

"Ball’s Falls Conservation Area is a beautiful blend of nature, history, and peaceful hiking trails. Both the Upper and Lower Falls are stunning — especially after a good rain when the water really flows. The trails are well-maintained and offer a variety of scenic views, from forested paths to open meadows and river crossings. The historical village adds a unique charm, with preserved buildings like the old mill and church giving a glimpse into 19th-century life. It’s quiet, clean, and perfect for a relaxing day outdoors. Wildlife sightings, beautiful bridges, and photo-worthy moments around every corner. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely walk, a bit of history, or just a quiet escape into nature, Ball’s Falls delivers. Great for families, solo hikers, or couples looking for a peaceful adventure in the Niagara region."

"A beautiful undiscovered part of the Niagara wine region. This is just the spot to go for a short hike to enjoy the scenery and burn off those wine calories. Enjoy both falls, which are more spectacular in spring when water levels are higher, and the heritage village. Well with a visit!"
