The Best Western name is known for its exceptional quality and service and with over twenty years in the wedding business Stoneridge Inn has satisfied hundreds of couples. All-Inclusive Packages combined with a reputation for value and flexibility makes planning easy at Stoneridge. With three ballrooms on offer Stoneridge has the perfect-sized space for the most intimate wedding to an elaborate reception for as many as 200 guests.

Bride Kristy tells us – “Natalie was amazing! She made everything so easy and it was very affordable. We wanted to keep our wedding reception under $10,000 and we were surprised when it came to much less. We had 50 guests, strolling food stations, and an open bar. Their all- inclusive packages are amazing! Natalie had me meet with the in house decorator who did all the decorating and even helped me with my flowers which I had forgotten to order. It was literally all taken care of for me and I honestly had zero stress. I even had the cake delivered to the hotel and she decorated it with fresh flowers.”

In addition to exceptional food and inventive menus Stoneridge offers comfortable, contemporary accommodations for your guests and The Rose Chapel (just steps from the Inn) where you can exchange vows before posing for wedding photos against rustic backdrops of outdoor gardens or one of the large stone fireplaces indoors that adorn the Inn. There are countless reasons to love this location. Here’s more than a few or ours…

Choosing your space

Receptions at Stoneridge come in many different forms. The venue is inviting and the ballrooms are tastefully decorated in soft, neutral tones with decorative elements to suit every décor and style. Accommodating between 50 and 200 guests, each of the three ballrooms have handicap-accessible washrooms, are individually climate-controlled and are equipped for DJ’s with a podium and microphone.

Choose from The Town and Country Ballroom (3300 square feet, up to 200 guests) with large windows overlooking the water feature and gardens, The Somerset Ballroom (2106 square feet, up to 120 guests) with a large stone fireplace and decorative mouldings The Townsend Ballroom (1521 square feet, up to 60 guests), which coordinates with the Somerset Ballroom, also has a fireplace along with two large chandeliers. The Townsend Ballroom adjoins The Somerset Ballroom and many couples opt to combine the use of these rooms, using one for the cocktail reception and then the other for the dinner and dance.

A historic ceremony site

The Rose Chapel is one of our favourite features of a Best Western Stoneridge wedding. This classically restored, chic, century-old, non-denominational venue can host ceremonies of up to 150 guests. Located on the grounds of the Best Western Stoneridge, the Rose Chapel is perfect for couples who are hosting their reception on or off site and even as a back-up location in case of inclement weather for outdoor ceremonies.

The chapel is bright and filled with natural light making is an amazing space for photos, and its the convenient location is within twenty minutes of most reception venues within London and St. Thomas. “There are many innovative ceremony options from the very basic to the most elaborate,” says Natalie. “From the first time we walked into the Rose Chapel, we knew it was a 100% yes and we didn’t need to look anywhere else!” says bride and groom Roslyn and Mike

Wining and dining…

Best Western Plus Stoneridge Inn & Conference Centre is known for its outstanding food. “The Executive Chef is continually developing inventive menus and will personalize a menu to suit the unique choices of each bridal couple. Any special dietary or cultural requirements can also be accommodated,” says Natalie Zima, General Manager. Combine this with an excellent wine list to complement the food and your wedding meal is complete.

We 100% recommend the Rose Chapel and the Stoneridge Inn. The Chapel was a gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony, and the ballrooms were perfect for our reception (plus our guests loved that they didn't have to drive to get to the reception). The staff was exceedingly helpful, and I cannot say enough about the food! Everyone has been telling us that ours is the best wedding they've been to, especially for the food (and the late night snack of in house pizza went over well too). We used the to adjoining ballrooms, which was fantastic because it allowed people to have a party area, and an area where you could still hear the music, but be able to sit and chat too.
We photographed a wedding at the Stoneridge Inn last summer and were particularly impressed with the professionalism of the staff and their service. This is a great venue located just off the 401, making it really convenient for out of town guests. We are looking forward to photographing a wedding later this year in their Rose Chapel!!!
I'm always excited when a client has chosen the Stoneridge for their wedding. The last wedding I shot there, I was particularly happy with how the staff was able to change things in their timing of the evening to accommodate a last minute request from the bride. She wanted to delay the dinner by about 20 minutes (to fit in a few dances) and the staff were able to help with that. The layout of the place is great and makes for a really easy mingling between guests, with such nice decor, and that makes my job as a photographer easier!
