PHOTOGRAPHY: Jess Collins Photography (www.jesscollinsphotos.com) Kitchener, ON “There is a Facebook group for Disney couples to help each
other with the planning process, and the group has a list of recommended photographers. I loved Jess’s photography style, and when I saw she was from Kitchener (only a couple of hours from us in Sarnia), I knew I wanted to hire her! She was so much fun to work with and was able to make us feel totally comfortable in front of the camera. I love all of our wedding photos, and especially love the candid shots she was able to capture of us and our guests having a great time.” – K

TELL US YOUR STORY: “Jer and I met through friends and after being friends for a couple of years, eventually started dating and fell in love. We both love travelling, concerts, and our pets, and we’ve always had fun together. We have been together for a long time now, and are best friends.
It had always been my dream to get married at Walt Disney World, and after a trip there together in 2016, I convinced him a Disney World wedding would be amazing. We bought a house together in 2018, and that fall he proposed to me in front of a group of our friends and family at a Halloween party at our house. I was dressed as Winnifred Sanderson and he was
dressed as the devil! Wedding planning started right away because we knew we wanted to get married the following October. Disney made the process so easy from the start. In Disney, we had two events leading
up to the wedding day. We had a joint bachelor/ette party at Epcot, where we ate and drank around the World Showcase. The night before the wedding we held a “welcome party” in Disney Springs where our guests were able to meet and mingle. On our wedding day, we had a beautiful morning ceremony at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, and then a super fun brunch reception at California Grill, where we danced the afternoon away. That evening, we held a “dessert party” at Epcot, where our guests were
able to have dessert and drinks before watching the nighttime fireworks from a private viewing area. It was truly the best day ever.” – K&J
