For the past ten years, The Creative Bride has offered event planning and coordination, but in 2017 the company rebranded its event planning side as Lovely Weddings & Events. From there they have evolved into not only offering Month of Coordination for traditional weddings but have created their wildly successful Pop Up Weddings, providing inclusive and styled wedding packages for couples looking for something between city hall and a traditional wedding day.
“We wanted to get creative and provide couples with an option that let our out of the box designs and styling run wild. They get themselves ready, show up and we take care of the rest! There had to be an affordable solution for those who were looking for an alternative to heading to City Hall but still wanted to feel like they weren’t missing out on the wedding,” says Kim Evans, designer, and creative director. “We wanted to do the heavy lifting for our couples and assemble an amazing team of wedding professionals who provided a superior experience for our couples with all of the fun and none of the stress. It’s a celebration!”
“We work so hard on all the details and watching the details and emotional ceremonies come together is such an honour for our team. It’s so gratifying to watch all the intimate moments, tears, and special moments.,” admits Kim. “It’s truly an exhilarating and touching event to be a part of and we’re struck with appreciation and gratitude every single time.”

“Our Signature Pop Up Weddings are what we do best! With the option of several dates around Southern Ontario, each with a unique venue and theme, you’re sure to find an option that would fit you best. We also offer 3 different levels of packages so you’re able to choose and customize your Pop Up Wedding so it’s the perfect fit for you.”
What is a Pop Up Wedding? They book the venue, photography, officiant, toast + treats, planning, décor, florals, invitation and you choose the time that day that works best for you. You come as you want with your favourite people (packages are based on 20 guests but some venues can accommodate larger groups) and they take care of the rest! All packages include plenty of time for guest arrival and mingling, ceremony, toast + treats and mingling following the ceremony, time for family photos, and a 30-minute private couples photography session.
“In 2021 we’ll be going everywhere from a historic estate in London, a stunning Georgian home in the centre of Toronto, a beyond Instagram-worthy winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake to a Museum in Downtown Kitchener.”
Kim believes that couples choose Lovely Weddings because the team works really hard to ensure the wedding is a success.
“We are smart, clever, think on our feet, and have a ton of experience. We are not reinventing the wheel here. We have worked since 2018 to create smooth and seamless Pop Up Weddings that fit our couples to a T! This is an option we provided long before we’d ever heard of COVID-19 and we will continue to provide to our awesome couples long after” When it comes to their ideal bride, Kim admits that they love working with couples who are fun, genuine and really want a wedding that is stress-free and unique.
