TELL US YOUR STORY: “I own a small business, a tattoo studio, and Josh had been a client since around the time we opened. Many years had passed maintaining this professional relationship until the day he found out I was newly single. He asked me out and we both had the best time! A couple years later we were settling in for a quiet Christmas Eve dinner together and Josh got down on one knee and asked that we spend Christmas engaged.” – L

BIGGEST CHALLENGE: “We were lucky that planning went smoothly for us. We had the normal decision issues, like deciding on what shoes to wear, what cake to order, and what colour pocket square; but nothing major. We had to postpone our wedding once because of provincial restrictions, so once we could finally have our day we were ready!” – L & J

BEST MEMORY: “Nothing can quite compare to seeing each other for the first time as the ceremony began. That image will be burned permanently in our minds. A close second would be the speeches – so many belly laughs!” – L & J

ADVICE: “When planning your wedding don’t lose sight of the fact that this is your day, your memory. You don’t have to please anyone else. Do what makes you happy.” – L & J
