Bride Raves for The Ring: Spring 2011
"We have managed to stay relatively local for all of our vendors. We have chosen Taste Fine Foods as our caterers (found them on your website), we have decided to go with Sticks and Stems for flowers (also from your web site)... I also found my wedding dress at She's So Beautiful also discovered on your website!! Not only is everyone realtively local, they all use resources form Ontario including food, flowers..." - Lindsay, May 30 2011

"I've relied on and trusted The Ring for EVERY vendor we've hired for the wedding so far: our florist (Pam at Flourish), our photographer (Anne Edgar), our venue (Cambridge Mill). The reviews are so informative and in-depth... it's as if all the investigative work has been done for me! I've already (and will continue to) recommend The Ring to every new bride I meet!! I'm a fan guys!! Keep up the great work!!" - Lisa, May 01 2011

The Ring Blog: Behind the scenes of the Fall/Winter fashion feature shoot
Photography by Renaissance Studios Photography (www.renaissancestudios.ca)
Story by Carla @ The Ring
By now, you've probably seen the fashion spread that The Ring did for the Fall/Winter 2010 issue of The Wedding Ring Magazine (and if you haven't, you should get on that: click here).
You saw the final, polished product - five beautiful brides with flawless hair and make-up, gorgeous gowns, sexy shoes and accessories to accent it all. With the fabulous, Romanesque backdrop, the team at Renaissance Studios Photography captured it all and the team at The Ring put it all together. Hmm... when you condense it down into two sentences like that and a six page spread, it sounds like a piece of wedding cake; but, have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a photo shoot? From the pre-shoot preparations to the day-of and post production, this shoot entailed 12 gowns, 15 pairs of shoes, a team of 20+ people, hundreds of photos, and 8 hours at one amazing venue. We're not about to give away all of our secrets, but here's a sneak peek...

The tip was posted by a bride, Jude, showing how simple it is to create a seating chart draft that can be easily maneuvered as you go, and eliminates the writing, erasing, re-writing and general hassle that usually comes with doing a seating chart, while also taking care of your RSVPs at the same time!
This chat post shows that if you want some of the best ideas, sometimes you just need to go directly to the source - local brides...

We know it's already been out for a month now, but since we're still getting inquiries about where you can get the Spring/Summer 2010 edition of The Wedding Ring Magazine, we thought we'd summarize it in this neat and tidy list.
The Wedding Ring magazine (literally) on shelves today!
The Wedding Ring magazine hits the shelves today - and we mean that literally. Chapters stores (as well as a few independant book stores) from Windsor to Toronto and Hamilton to Guelph have stocked their shelves with the Spring/Summer 2010 issue of The Wedding Ring magazine.
To say this is exciting for the team at The Wedding Ring - as well as the brides and featured experts in this particular issue - would be a bit of an understatement... Read more...
