The team at North Moore Catering is thrilled to announce their brand new wedding venue, located at Museum London. Set to open in March 2012, THE RIVER ROOM will offer gorgeous views overlooking the Forks of the Thames. The venue promises to be absolutely stunning and elegant with comfortable parsons chairs and incredible food!

THE RIVER ROOM has a capcacity to hold 86 guests for a sit-down dinner or 127 guests for a cocktail reception.

Operated by North Moore Catering's Executive Chef Brian Magee, Manager Sandra Doyle and Owners Jess Jazey-Spoelstra & Harmen Spoelstra, the team in currently booking for 2012 and will be at both the Western Fair Bridal Expo and the Convention Center's Bridal Show.

Matt and Evelyn knew right away that they wanted a September wedding. They felt September would be the perfect month “because the weather is usually fantastic.” They now laugh about it, admitting, “We were wrong! It was overcast, very cold and very windy that day. But at least it didn’t rain!” But with an outdoor ceremony in their plans, they knew they’d found THE location in The Ring when they came across a review on The Clearing (a wedding location in Sheddon, Ontario). The couple instantly fell in love with it’s natural beauty.

As if in warning that weather can always play a part in anything outdoors, it actually poured rain on the day they viewed The Clearing. But with a space so gorgeous, they opted not to worry about weather.
