Family owners bring dedication, expertise & quality to the forefront of the tuxedo market
In the past, The Ring has visited and called Collins Formal Wear countless times in an effort to do research for our brides and grooms. Every single time we approach Collins, we are greeted the same way each customer is greeted - warmly and with appreciation. Even with tons of weddings on the go, clients filling their rental locations, and lots on their plates, the three owners of Collins Formal Wear - Lynda, Brad and Curt Collins never fail to provide exceptional service to each of their clients, which likely has something to do with the fact that they believe "shopping for a tux is like shopping for a wedding gown. It's not a decision to be taken lightly." It's for this reason, and for their extensive selection of high quality, exclusive formal wear, that The Ring decided every groom (and his bride) should know what we know about Collins Formal Wear.

The person you love more than anything else in the world just asked for your hand in marriage. Now, the task at hand is to decide when, where and how your wedding day is going to unfold.

Planning a wedding is one of the most important times in a couple's life no matter their age or financial status. It’s a decision that needs some serious consideration whether blending two families, three pets and a home together as one, or simply taking two incredibly special human beings who are dedicated to taking their relationship to entirely new level of commitment. Maybe I’m biased because of the significant role I play on the wedding day; however, I feel that the ceremony is the most important part of the day – no matter what a couple's religious beliefs or family background is, the number of years together, or their age. Story by TheWeddingRing.ca

Julia Horel and Craig O’Brien met in February 2004 while going to separate universities but coming together through mutual friends. They exchanged email addresses and after one message lead to another, they were dating. Julia and Craig spent time together whenever they could, but their relationship had its challenges, from hectic school schedules to their three-year long distance relationship that went on until Craig and Julia moved to Vancouver together while she was in grad school. They felt they’d been apart long enough.

  • Subject: Brand new, beautiful wedding dress for sale! - by: Natasha King
Hi everyone! I have a brand new, never-worn wedding dress for sale. I bought it a while ago, but recently changed wedding ideas from formal to extremely informal, so now won't be needing it. It is a strapless ivory gown, with aloncon lace covering mikado silk. This romantic gown is pretty hard to find, so you can be sure that it will be very unique! It is a lovely gown for a wedding during any season, and goes with pretty much any theme you are envisioning. Size: 8, altered to a 6/7 Price: with alterations, the dress cost close to $1300. As it has never been worn, any reasonable offers will be considered... I'm all about negotiating:) Please see attached pictures, and let me know if you're interested! I look forward to hearing from you, and happy wedding-planning! P.S. I couldn't find any pictures online (like I said, hard to find!), so I only have ones of me in the sample store one. http://www.theweddingring.ca/images/fbfiles/images/wedding_dress_3.jpg http://www.theweddingring.ca/images/fbfiles/images/wedding_dress_1.jpg http://www.theweddingring.ca/images/fbfiles/images/wedding_dress_2.jpg
