Story by TheWeddingRing.ca

Troy Huber and Amie MacDonald are true high school sweethearts. They’ve been together for twelve years and their connection is obvious in the way they talk about each other. Amie credits their strong relationship to Troy. “He’s sweet, kind, and hard working. I love that Troy is really friendly, kind, and hard working and that he really values his family... and he can always make me laugh.” Troy says he loves Amie’s easygoing, positive personality. “She is caring and thoughtful.”

The (modernized) honours dance

Nico Kaburia, Founder and Director of Flying Dance Company (www.flyingdancecompany.com) in Guelph, shared his thoughts on the modernized (bride & father) Honours Dance.

The dance between the bride and her father is sometimes referred to as the “Honours Dance,” a tradition that pays respect to the evolving relationships between the newlywed couple and their parents.

Kurt Brown from Two Tone Studios (www.2tonestudios.ca) has had a very busy wedding season (he usually does); but, he's never too busy to share some of his favourites in The Ring community. And we always love browsing his albums; he has a knack for capturing literally every wedding detail. And we can never get enough of the details!
