Merridale Estate Cidery is filled with delightful corners – the yurt looks over the pond and gazebo while the orchards are filled, according to the season, with floral and fruit. The water rushes over the entrance waterfall and the chef’s gardens wave with edible florals and herbs. Let’s not leave out the results of all of this beauty…the ciders and cuisine! Together this creates the perfect scenario for romantic weddings…

Tammy, of Blue Lily Events, worked along with Janet and Jess of Merridale Estate Cidery to create this pretty and fresh look that suits the orchards. Fern, of The Bride’s Closet, showed up to work with Masika May Photography with lovely gowns and accessories and even stepped in to become our ‘officiant’! We were especially pleased to work with Outlooks for Men and Leaf and Petal – both Cowichan Valley wedding professionals that kept it local. Tasha Winters did on-site hair and make-up to keep the look clean and fresh.

Tammy envisioned a pink and green palette that mirrored the spring orchard with a clean background of whites and greys along with orchard tableaus while ‘pretty in pink’ took on new meaning with our best man and maid of honor! Aimee of Open Invitation worked to create a full suite that included everything from menus to cards.

We love the results of all of this creativity and the love put into this editorial shows in every photo…
