Why The Ring?

The Ring is different from most wedding web sites and magazines because we go further than advertising for vendors or basic wedding tips for brides. Each advertiser Interviews & Reviewed in The Wedding Ring selects wedding professionals for their reputation, their cool-factor, and by the the fact that we've met them, like them, and want to tell you all about them. Many vendors have been recommended to us by other brides and wedding industry experts.  The Ring's staff has done its homework - researched, interviewed, checked references, and more - to find great services that can work with all different tastes, budgets and preferences. You'll have lots of options to plan the perfect wedding but not so many that you don't know where to start. The Wedding Ring is a community and a concept that's designed all around what real brides need and what professional wedding vendors have every right to expect.

Hiring: What's a bride to do?

When you're faced with hiring services for the most important day of your life, based solely on who's phone book ad is the biggest, who has the nicest logo, or who's 'blurb' in a web site ad sounds best... When there are hundreds of photographers and thousands of florists... how do you choose? By getting free access to all of the details, prices, options and recommendations you'd normally spend months trying to find. The Ring is changing the way Cambridge and surrounding area brides plan weddings.
