The proposal: “My fiancé is actually American and I am Canadian! We met online and talked for a bit and then officially met up in Niagara Falls for the first time.

He proposed to me at my 30th birthday party in front of all my friends and family.

My mom and friends threw me a 30th birthday party. After they sang me happy birthday in both English and polish, my aunt and brothers girlfriend pulled out a blanket that my fiancé had given to me for Christmas with a quote saying how much he loved me.

After they were all done singing I turned to look at the blanket. I was really confused because at the same time my fiancé started his speech by saying in polish ‘sto lat‘ which means 100 years… Victoria I want to spend a 100 years with you”. I turned to look at him only to realize he was down on one knee holding a ring! I was so shocked I responded is this a joke!! Are you serious!! Before kissing him and saying yes!” – Victoria
