Venue Specifications

The Toronto Centre for the Arts offers an abundance of space for any wedding. It’s a high class venue that is easily accessible and has a lot of character. There are three different theatre rooms within the centre that include captivating interconnecting lobbies.

Wedding receptions can be held in any of the rooms, including the Studio Theatre, which can hold 200 guests for standing receptions and up to 130 guests participating in a seated dinner. The Gallery Theatre and Piano Lounge can both hold a capacity of 110-130 people standing and is ideal for smaller wedding receptions. For couples who plan to invite a lot of guests the Lobby would be ideal as it can hold anywhere from 50 to over 600 guests. Each space has its own unique attributes and they all are simply elegant.

In addition, the Toronto Centre for the Arts also offers VIP Suites. Each suite can hold 30 guests and include a private bar, bathroom and a closet; the VIP suites are often used for small receptions.

The Toronto Centre for the Arts also offers preferred caterers and exclusive suppliers, which are highly recommended by the Toronto Centre for the Arts. They have built a solid reputation and bring a high level of commitment to each of the clients they service.

Pricing and Packages

The Toronto Centre for the Arts has all inclusive rates which will include space rental costs, coverage for the mandatory front of house staff, box office administration and a deposit for staff and crew.  However, prices vary depending on which area of the venue couple choose to use, whether it is one of the three theatres/lounges with interconnected lobbies or the spacious rehearsal hall and whether or not the couple chooses to use one of their preferred caterers. The Booking and Events Coordinators will work with clients to set an appropriate budget and estimate the final costs for renting the space.

Elsa is dedicated to making sure everything runs as planned on the day of the wedding. He is responsible for the set up and clean up of the event and deals with any deliveries made to the venue for the wedding. Other staff may also be there to aid with the set up and clean up such as other event staff, caterers and the décor staff; this ensures there is always staff available for assistance and servicing guests.

After the wedding, The Toronto Centre for the Arts may contact the couple with a settlement invoice, however most business is completed prior to the wedding day.

It’s All in the Details

The Toronto Centre for the Arts requires 50% of the deposit total when completing the contract and the remaining 50% one month prior to the day of the wedding. Other specifications are addressed with the bride and groom while completing the booking procedures.
