Since it’s conception in 2010 The Tannery has become one of the region’s premier catering and event centres.

Offering professional catering and venue services for groups of 170 or less, this unique space is a corporate event and wedding venue brought to you by Bingemans. With over 50 years of experience hosting weddings across Southwestern Ontario, the Bingemans team strives to not only build long-lasting relationships with their clients, but to personalize each event to meet specific needs and styles.

The Tannery Event Centre is a unique venue with rich history as part of the Lang’s Tannery, dating back to the 1800’s. It is this unique marriage of history and modern wrap-around digital screens that make this venue a favourite among couples looking to have an experience like no other.

On the big day, you will have a dedicated team including experienced banquet staff and an event supervisor, all of whom are overseen by a banquet and account manager ensuring your event runs smoothly. The Tannery’s competitive room rental fee means couples have the option to emphasize the smaller details which help to create a memorable and personalized wedding.

The Unique Space

The Tannery Event Centre is comprised of exposed brick walls and 20-foot-tall wood beam ceilings to emulate a rustic atmosphere. Unlike a barn, temperature control is a feature keeping your guests comfortable on those warm summer days and frigid winter nights.

State-of-the-art wrap around digital screens offer a platform to personalize your wedding. Utilize one of the space’s standard images, share a picture of where you said “Yes”, or a video that your best-friend made to honour your relationship – your chosen background will be a special addition to your wedding day!

The large screens helped to create the atmosphere we wanted; they can be personalized or you can choose any of their breathtaking backgrounds. We chose to be married under the twinkling stars. Special Event Staff

Event Supervisor
You will have a dedicated event supervisor who will manage staff, ensure everything is set up correctly and oversee meals are served according to dietary needs and desired timeline. Your event supervisor is available to you at any point during your event to answer questions or help in any way.

Your dedicated bartenders are professionally trained and Smart Serve certified to ensure your guests have an enjoyable and safe evening.

Chef & Culinary Team
You will have an on-site chef who guides our culinary team and is dedicated to plating and preparing your meals.

Banquet Managers
Your experienced banquet managers oversee all operations before and during your event.

Account Manager
Your account manager will be with you from start to finish working with you every step of the way including viewing the space, finalizing booking and planning details right up until your wedding day.

All Inclusive Package
$119.95 per person + 18% administrative charge and HST

The Tannery’s most popular package for 2019 is the all-inclusive package featuring a cocktail hour, an open bar, a 3-course plated meal and late-night meal option as well as your choice from 60 different colours for napkins and chair covers. Not to mention, a team of dedicated staff who will help make your day not only special, but worry-free.
