This wedding is giving us all the feels!! A little bit of rain didn’t stop Anita and Will from making the most of the day and with some creativity they got amazing indoor and outdoor shots!
FULL NAMES: Anita Pimentel & William Harris
WEDDING DATE: September 17th, 2016
PHOTOGRAPHY: HRM Photography (www.hrmphotography.com) “Heather’s photos captured moments we loved to see – whether they be fun or romantic. The pictures are clear and have beautiful colour. After we did our engagement shoot with her, we knew she was the one!”
FLORALS/DECOR: Rossini Floral (www.rossinifloral.com) “The flowers were cream, white and soft pink accompanied by ivy. Flowers such as ivory roses, blush dahlias, orchids, gardenias, white hydrangeas were also used.”
HAIR & MAKE-UP: Tammy’s Hair Design
COLOUR PALETTE: Blush, Gold & Ivory
THEME: “The theme started with a birdcage and grew from there – from bird cage center pieces, to hanging cages, a bird cage cake, and many more details. The gold appliqué on my dress inspired gold accents. We wanted a very soft palette with some greenery. The lights/lighting were all warm white or candle lit. Very romantic and vintage.”
FAV DECOR ELEMENT: “The head table was one of my favourite elements! It was a long table with candles, fully opened roses and dahlias, gold accents and of course, the birdcages on top of a beautiful Venetian gold overlay.”
DIY: “There were only a few DIY projects for us. We did was the guest book, which was a photo album of our engagement photos with post cards for the guests to sign. We also did our memory table and the donation cards at each seat.”
BIGGEST CHALLENGE: “The seating chart!”
BEST WEDDING MEMORY: “There are a few! Our first look. Walking down the aisle towards the love of my life to the song Kissing You by Des’ree. Our first dance to the song You and Me by Pink and Dallas Green. The words are wonderful and the song is beautiful. I feel like I’m back in that moment when I hear it now.”
ADVICE FROM ONE BRIDE TO ANOTHER: Enjoy!!! Hire a great photographer, and go for the video! That’s all you have left when all is said and done. Also, hire a planner! They’re worth Every. Single. Penny.
