{Reality Wedding Story} Modern meets Rustic at Bellamere Winery | Julie & Jordan

Julie and Jordan wanted to bring modern rustic to life, and they were able to do just that with Bellamere’s beautiful wooden beams and natural light.

BRIDE’S ATTIRE: “Dress was purchased from Sophies Gown Shop (www.sophiesgownshoppe.com). My earrings and bracelet were purchased from Swarovski’s (www.swarovski.com) as a gift from my mother.”

BRIDESMAIDS ATTIRE: Were ordered from an online store called Lulus (www.lulus.com)

COLOUR PALETTE: Light pink and ivory

THEME: Modern rustic

FAV DECOR ELEMENT: “The florals were definitely my favourite part of the decor. They were perfect. Absolutely flawless. Mary from Springhill Flowers made my vision into a reality and I knew she would take care of everything for me, from the bouquets to placing flowers in my centrepieces.”

DIY: “My family and friends helped me with the centrepieces, the wood cookies, everything. I had wooden signs made for the entrance as well as a signing board for guests. My best friend made our seating chart using a giant chalk board and a chalk pen.”

BIGGEST CHALLENGE: “My biggest challenge was trying to keep organized. I was constantly worried that I was forgetting something and that I wouldn’t realize until the wedding day.”

BEST WEDDING MEMORY: “The best memory from our wedding would have to be sharing it with all of our family and friends. We experienced so much love and support from those who helped to make our special day perfect. Now we have absolutely stunning photos to take a glance at and all of those memories come rushing back.”

ADVICE FROM ONE BRIDE TO ANOTHER: My advice would be to make sure you get the major items checked off the list early and be sure to follow up with vendors to make sure they are still on board. The most important thing I can recommend is to live in that moment. Don’t sweat the small stuff that might go wrong, because you will be the only one who notices. Enjoy every moment and take a minute here and there to step back, look around and take it all in.
