“From our first consultation at Sherry’s studio through our engagement photos and the wedding day itself, we always felt at ease with Sherry’s guidance and direction. When she wanted to, Sherry had a talent for becoming invisible by blending into the surroundings. We also appreciated her tendency to take actions shtos, rather than posed portraits. The result were some casual, fun, beautifully captured memories of our very special day.” – Lauren & Adam

The Menu: “We wanted to emphasize the food… we opted for a plated dinner. Under the principle “better safe than sorry.” the Chef worked with us to ensure the entire menu was gluten-free. The options were chicken, beef, or vegetarian. We attended a tasting before the wedding where we got to request little flourishes like artisan bread baskets with a choice of infused butters for the tables.”

Finding Vendors: “I consider myself very lucky. Everything fell into place naturally. One photographer came highly recommended by my Maid of Honour… Our decorator was our first choice and she was available as well. The DJ (ZZAT Entertainment) was not originally available for our date (but then called back to say they did in fact have a DJ available..” – Lauren
Favourite Part of Wedding Prep: “Planning it with my husband-to-be. We wanted to do as much of the prep together as possible. We both value each other’s opinion and really wanted our day to have both our touches.” – Lauren
