Established in 2014, La Petite Fleur is a boutique floral design company located in downtown Galt that is known for their unique, garden-chic and whimsical style. Not only do they take an artistic approach to creating unique floral arrangements, their designs are constantly evolving to stay current with fashion trends. They also strive to create florals that will reflect their clients’ unique love story.
Staff at The Ring sat down with Brandy King, Owner, Floral Designer and Creative Director at La Petite Fleur to find out everything a couple needs to know about the creative and inspiring arrangements offered at this floral boutique. Let us tell you more…
About La Petite Fleur…
Deciding to open La Petite Fleur was not something that happened overnight. Brandy admits that a series of small moments led her to open her own floral boutique.
Flowers have always been Brandy’s passion and she admits that she loved them from a young age and always incorporated them into her daily life. But aside from flowers, Brandy is an artist.
“I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember,” she admits, adding that she inherited the gift from her mother. “So when the opportunity arose to combine these two passions, I confidently took the step and have never been happier.”
According to Brandy, her inspiration comes from nature and her floral designs reflect the natural beauty of the florals within them, but she also looks to her brides for inspiration. “Our brides trust us to create something original for them. They have an idea of the look and feeling that their wedding will have but allow us as artists to do what we do best and create something as beautiful and unique as their love.”
When she’s not creating for clients, she hones her craft at workshops or collaborative creatives – she’s always looking to push the boundaries of her art and skills.
“I’ve personally created the wedding florals for over 100 weddings,” she admits. Brandy meets every bride that comes to La Petite Fleur. “Meeting brides and understanding their vision is one of the most important steps in realizing a couple’s floral dreams,” she says.
What makes La Petite Fleur different…
“I have known La Petite for a while and seen their work,” says Aaron Cimaron. As Brandy is good friends with Aaron’s husband, the couple was very familiar with her style and it fit Aaron’s perfectly! “Their creativity is very up-to-date – urban, country, class – you name it. She listened to what we wanted, gave us options and solutions to meet our expectations within our budget.” According to Aaron, there isn’t anyone else he and his husband would have chosen to decorate their wedding.
“Our brides trust us to create something original for them. They have an idea of the look and feeling that their wedding will have, but allow us as artists to do what we do best and create something as beautiful and unique as their love,” says Brandy. “Our clients appreciate the unique florals we create them and how they complement their wedding day vision.”
According to Brandy, La Petite Fleur’s designs have been featured in many notable magazines and blogs such as The Wedding Ring, Wedding Bells, WedLux, Ruffled, Artfully Wed, Hitched, Love Inc., The Wedding Opera, Story Board Wedding, Fab You Bliss, Trendy Bride and Reno & Decor Magazine.
