Tell us your story!: “I had recently relocated from Toronto to my home town for work and to be closer to my family. I come from a small northern town of a few thousand people and it definitely crossed my mind that I would probably not meet the man of my dreams there. About a week after moving, I attended a music concert with some friends. At the end of the night I ran into an old friend from high school and after exchanging pleasantries, he stopped, looked at me and said ‘can I introduce you to someone?’ I thought sure why not!? You never know what could come of meeting someone new and worst case scenario, it could be a funny story to tell later on. So I said ‘Sure!’

A few minutes later I saw this tall man walking towards me. I remember thinking how handsome he was, but when he got closer and I saw his stunning blue/grey eyes, my stomach flipped and the butterflies started. We talked for hours and haven’t been apart since!

I had definitely given up on love and that’s when the man of my dreams walked into my life. ” – J

How did you find your photographer?: “I found our photographer through a Facebook wedding group. What I loved most was that they are a husband and wife team and offered a package including 2 photographers, DJ and wedding cake. We got married in the fall and have the most stunning photos with the orange and red of the leaves. They captured my day perfectly!” – J

Biggest Challenge: “Our biggest challenge was trying to plan the entire day ourselves long distance. We moved to London 3 months prior to our wedding date, so we booked everything unseen. Making sure the day of timeline was perfected and making sure all of our vendors and all other aspects were confirmed. Thank goodness we gave ourselves a year and a half to plan. Definitely needed it!” – J&T

Best Memory: “The best memory I have of our wedding day was when my violinist began playing my parents wedding song that I walked down the aisle to. Looking at my dad with tears as we started down the aisle and seeing my husband to be standing at the end of it with our 3 children In our wedding party.” – J

Any advice for couples planning their wedding?: “I was given the advice to remember to take in every moment and enjoy your day. Not everything will go as planned and that’s ok! I kept this in mind and I really took the time to let everything sink in! It really was one of the very best days of my life!” – J
