Photographer: Lightscape Photography (lightscapephotography.ca) “We met our photographer at a bridal show in Cambridge. I loved the style of their photos which really brought out the essence of the couple they were photographing. They are a husband and wife team and work so well together. They are inspired by their surroundings and no two couple’s pictures are the same. It was a dream to work with them. They made everyone feel very comfortable and didn’t miss any pictures. They even stayed slightly longer than required to capture the Father-Daughter dance. My favourite pictures are from when the champagne bottle didn’t pop like we wanted it to after the ceremony. Curtis improvised and started drinking from the bottle. They were able to capture the pure joy in the moment!” – S

Biggest challenge: “The biggest challenge when it came to planning the wedding was sticking to our relatively low budget. We had to be creative when it came to designing many elements of our wedding day and did a lot of DIY in order to be able to stick to our budge. Luckily our families and friends were both willing to help us out and made sure we were able to get it all done.” – S&C

Fav wedding memory: “The best memory of our wedding was our first dance. We had been practicing with Angie at Fred Astaire dance studio (www, fredastaire.ca) for a few months and were able to go from no dancing skills to putting together a beautiful routine to Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.” – S

Advice from one couple to another: “Make sure you both get a say in your day. It isn’t just one person’s day and should represent the combining of both personalities and tastes. Open communication from the beginning is key to making sure both people are getting exactly what they want and at a comfortable price for both.” – S&C
