From trendy to the traditional, the Four Points by Sheraton London provides you with everything you need to make your dream wedding come true. With 180 guestrooms, a full service conference centre, and outdoor gardens, they have everything needed to create the perfect event, all under one roof. Four Points London is conveniently located about 10 to 15 minutes from downtown London, with quick and easy access to the 401.

Three ballrooms play host to countless London ceremonies and receptions year round, with space for events of up to 600 guests. For a summer wedding, the Four Points has an outdoor gazebo, overlooking a Japanese garden which can host up to 120 guests for a seated ceremony. For a winter wedding, it offers multiple gorgeous spaces to choose from indoors.

Staff at the Ring sat down with Kim Samela, Director of Sales & Marketing at the Four Points by Sheraton London to learn more about what this venue has to offer couples on their special day.

Four Points by Sheraton London in person…

Four Points by Sheraton London has become a household name for corporate, private and wedding events. Over the years, it wasn’t just maintained, but also continuously updated, undergoing numerous transformations throughout the entire hotel.

After so many weddings, Kim still finds excitement and inspiration for each wedding she helps orchestrate. “It’s exciting to be a part of such a memorable moment in a person’s life,” she explains. When asked why brides choose Four Points London, Kim says it’s because they know they’ll be taken care of. “I think brides appreciate the simple planning process coupled with the expertise of our staff.”

The Four Points London has a team of wedding experts to handle every aspect of the big day. The team consists of the Director of Food & Beverage, award winning Executive Chef, 2 Wedding Coordinators and the Banquet Manager. “From planning, catering and décor our team has done it all,” says Kim. “We are experienced in planning intimate affairs or a large event fit for a princess.”

Spaces, options & packages at Four Points London…

The hotel offers a full ceremony and reception venue with guestroom accommodations. The hotel has three main ballrooms –Bristol, Balmoral, and London Ballroom. The Grand Bristol Ballroom is true to its name providing space for up to 600 people. The Balmoral Ballroom offers use of the hotel’s mezzanine lounge for events of up to 180 people. The London Room is the perfect backdrop for an intimate affair for 100 people.
Each ballroom offers its own unique features that contribute to the perfect day.

Four Points London offers customized wedding packages, with their “all-inclusive wedding” package starting at $119 per person. “Our all-inclusive wedding package is definitely a popular choice amongst our couples. It provides an easy planning experience and makes budgeting very simple,” says Kim.

Walking you through a Four Points London wedding…

“One of our experienced Wedding Coordinators would meet with the couple and guide them through the booking and planning process,” explains Kim. The wedding coordinator is the couple’s point-person and stay with the couple through the entire planning process and on the day of the wedding.

“The Wedding Coordinator ensures that everything has arrived on time and is set according to the couple’s vision,” explains Kim, adding that the Executive Chef and Banquet Manager are also on site for the event. “The Executive Chef provides a delicious meal that the couple has chosen and tried at their tasting. The Banquet Manager handles all of the details, so that the couple and their guests can enjoy the event.”

Tonya and Jesse Stillitano were looking for a venue to accommodate their wedding guest list and the Four Points London was the venue they decided to use. “With 250 guests invited, we were limited as to what venues could accommodate our guest list. We were also looking for a venue that could host our out of town guests,” says Tonya. “The biggest reason that we ended up choosing Four Points Sheraton was because of the excellent service. They were attentive to our needs and were always available to answer questions. All the Four Points staff made us feel like we were family.”

Jayme and Matthew Ball explored many different venues, but they choose the Four Points because of the modern appearance, fair priced packages, location and overnight accommodations for guests. “We loved how modern the lobby of the Four Points is. As soon as we walked into the building it felt classy. I liked how our room was upstairs away from other hotel guests, giving us the privacy needed.”

What couples love most…

According to Tonya, what she liked best about the hotel was that they took care of everything. “They are very experienced with wedding planning and they made the planning process easy,” she admits. “Our experience with Four Points was excellent. They were easy to be in touch with whether through phone, email or in person. We would always leave feeling that our wedding day was just as special and important to them as it was to us.”

“We felt that Four Points was pricing was competitive with all other similar venues that we looked at,” says Tonya. “It’s hard to choose one memory, but I feel like our interaction with all the staff there was excellent. From the people that worked at the front desk, our wedding coordinator to the people that worked in the lounge. All the individuals that work at Four Points clearly enjoy their job and this is evident in the personable service that they provide.”

Jayme feels that the Four Points London made planning the wedding stress free. “We had the best day of our lives and our guest are still talking about it!”

According to Jayme, the staff were also fantastic at meeting the needs of their wedding guest. “My husband’s grandfather was in a wheel chair and they assisted him with the elevator and ensured he was comfortable at his table. My uncle with Alzheimer’s had his very own waitress to make sure that his night was great,” Jayme says.
