Jason and Kristy wanted a wedding that was easy and full of family! Opting for a strolling dinner with a variety of food stations gave them the chance to mingle with their friends and family in a less formal setting. Location: Best Western Plus Stoneridge Inn & Conference Centre (stoneridgeinn.com) “We chose the Stoneridge Inn initially because we fell in love with the beautiful chapel that they had available on their property. It was both of our second marriages and we really just wanted something small and simple. We had planned to get married at the chapel and have everyone back to our place for an outdoor reception. As soon as we met with Natalie we knew that we wanted to have the reception right at the hotel. We were having out of town guests and it was the perfect place for them to stay the night. The hotel was so nicely decorated and we had heard amazing things about the restaurant at the hotel.” – J&K

“We decided to do food stations rather than a sit down meal because we wanted everyone to mingle and to make it less formal. The food was amazing! We had 4 food stations – salmon and prime rib, a pasta station, a salad station and a dessert bar.” – J&K

“Our wedding ceremony was at 7pm and out reception began right at 8. People could eat or mingle or grab a drink. We had our pictures taken in early evening prior to the ceremony and then we had more taken after the ceremony so we could include our guests and take a group photo outside of the church. Our photographer was Shayne Hendry who is a close friend of ours and has taken family photos for us in the past.” – J&K

“I would say to anyone who is getting married to just have fun and enjoy the day. Don’t stress about all the little things that could go wrong, because the day will come and go so quickly and as long as the people you love are there then the rest doesn’t matter.” – K

“The Stoneridge Inn took care of almost everything for me. They decorated the ballroom beautifully! I literally had no stress! In fact we joked that we should do it again this year!” – K
