Most couples will experience two or three life changing events in their lifetime – and marriage is one of them. Enduring Promises (EP) recognizes this and that is why they are committed to assisting couples to create a wedding ceremony that incorporates their beliefs and values, reflects their personalities and is totally customizable. EP not only has a passion for weddings, but also for seeing marriages succeed and relationships continue to flourish.

About Enduring Promises…

Enduring Promises is an award winning and trusted team of experienced and highly trained officiants who are all licensed to officiate weddings. EP was founded in June 2009, but most of the company’s officiants were performing ceremonies long before then. Since the inception of the company, EP has officiated over 9,000 ceremonies.

Brian Manuel, Managing Director, said, “It became apparent to us that couples wanted the ability to customize every aspect of their ceremony and wanted an experienced, well trained professional to offer suggestions and guidance throughout the process. As the referrals came in quickly, we realized that additional officiants were a must. So, we reached out to other officiants we knew were already conducting weddings but lacked the online resources and training that Enduring Promises offered. Once seeing the online tools and hearing our vision of a wedding celebration, the EP Team grew quickly.”

“Enduring Promises’ process is seamless and lets you completely customize your ceremony,” says Katelyn, a bride who was recently married by an EP officiant. “EP’s online console offers many templates that you can select and change to create every aspect of your ceremony. They are great people to work alongside, both professionally and personally.” Katelyn enlisted Enduring Promises services because of her long-standing relationship and knowledge of the company.- can’t change a brides quote

EP believes that the experience, professionalism and training that the officiants with EP has is a major contributor as to why couples choose EP to officiate their ceremony. “We strive for excellence in all we do, and it’s reflected in the 1,000+ testimonials posted online from our couples.”

Every couple is unique; therefore, every EP officiated ceremony is different. “Each couples’ heritage, religious beliefs, values, cultural traditions and personalities are different and it’s our responsibility as the officiant to help blend these different aspects into their ceremony. So, after their ceremony when the bride and groom tell us that the ceremony was exactly what they hoped for, that is our reward and the reason we keep officiating weddings.”

EP believes that part of the company’s success is founded on it’s “team player” mentality. “We know that a wedding involves 30 to 40 people working together to ensure that the couple enjoy one of the biggest celebrations of their lives – with as little stress as possible. As every aspect of the ceremony is unique to the couple, we meet with the DJ, musician, photographer, videographer, planner and anyone else involved, before the ceremony to make sure everyone knows what to expect during the ceremony, and what is expected of them. This ensures that there won’t be any confusion among those participating in the ceremony and the other vendors.”

On the day of the wedding, the officiant, who has worked with the couple to help create their ceremony, will be at the venue at least 30 minutes prior to the contracted start time of the ceremony. Unlike most officiants, Enduring Promises also guarantees a “backup officiant” should anything prevent the initial officiant from being present (sickness, death in the family, etc.).

Enduring Promises Advantage…

The process for a couple to meet with the officiant of their choice is a simple one. Once a couple submits a short Inquiry Form online, EP emails the couple several profiles of officiants who match their stated preferences (i.e. a male or female officiant, a bilingual officiant, etc.) and are available for their date and time. The couple then chooses which officiant they would like to meet with. This no-obligation Initial Consultation affords the couple an opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas about their ceremony, as well as the chance to get to know if the officiant is a good fit for them. During the meeting, the officiant will also share some unique ideas and suggestions they have seen over the years that will help make the ceremony as unique as the couple themselves. The couple will also be introduced to Enduring Promises’ extensive online resources and proprietary software which helps to reduce the stress on them to create a memorable wedding ceremony. After all, there only two people who can tell their love story – and that’s the couple. So, we give them the tools needed to create the ceremony of their dreams. “I love how the company enabled us to choose the officiant who best suited our personalities and style. The online Console was also extremely easy to use with tons of suggestions – which really made creating our ceremony easy and very personalized,” says Dana, a recent EP bride.

Our experience and trusted officiants will also share ideas that are different from most wedding ceremonies. All the officiants with Enduring Promises have experience officiating weddings prior to joining our team. Although experienced, Enduring Promises has every officiant train with two different Training Managers to understand exactly why we do what we do. Not the “what we do”, but the “why we do it.” Then we have the new Team member shadow one of the Training Managers on several ceremonies, rehearsals and initial consultations before they officiate a ceremony through EP.

Enduring Promises Team and Services…

Enduring Promises officiates weddings from Windsor through the GTA to Ottawa down into the Niagara Region, as well as in Calgary. Their head office is in Toronto where the administrative and social media teams oversee the bookings and online presence of the company.

Unlike most officiants, Enduring Promises posts their services, ceremonies and fees on their website. Ginelle, a bride who used EP to officiate her ceremony, found Enduring Promises’ fees to be extremely reasonable for the services offered. “We felt that the guidance, ideas and service they performed were well worth the fee and took the stress out of the planning ceremony. We didn’t compare their cost with any others because we knew from the beginning that we wanted to use Enduring Promises.”

“My husband and I are from different faiths and we were looking for a vendor who could do a non-denominational ceremony yet incorporate our love story into the ceremony,” explains Tahzin, a supporter of EP. “Enduring Promises was able to meet both needs – they performed a non-denominational ceremony and with their fantastic online system, and we were able to personalize our ceremony as we liked.”
