What bride out there wouldn’t want to get all dressed up in her dress again and have a little more fun? At least that’s what we hoped. So one day Anne -one of our photographers- set out to find this bride. Several queries were sent out, and to our surprise – everyone asked said YES! They all wanted to jump right back in their dresses! The idea of choosing just one… well it was tough. But after a difficult selection process, we ended up with not one bride, but 5. So how’s this for a great inspirational shoot (not to mention awesome idea), five models, five photographers, and five vignettes all in one super cool location.

This shoot was a beautiful collaboration of amazing Southern Ontario wedding vendors. We focused on bringing Canadian charm of water, woods, & rustic stone ruins together with the soft elegance of ribbons, flower bouquets filled with peonies, astilbe, sweet peas and lily of the valley, snapdragons, “Geraldine” roses, silver dollar eucalyptus and Queen Anne’s Lace mixed with a touch of vintage, while being surrounded by nature. Using soft pinks, grays, teals and a hint of gold against the stone and wood was simply stunning.

The location selected was the old Harris Mill Ruins in the heart of Rockwood Conservation Area (Rockwood, Ontario, Canada). It gave us the space we needed to create five vignettes and show brides that something out of the ordinary can make a great reception location.

Our beautiful models, Emily, Erin, Jamie, Katarzyna, and Teresa, were all recent brides of our vendors. Each had completely different weddings and, they were really excited to be a part of styled shoot. Each bride wore their own gowns, shoes and accessories. Make-up stylist Rebecca gave her brides a soft whimsical appeal, while make-up stylist Tamala created a hard edgy look. Our hairstylist Michelle and Kaitlyn created soft styles incorporating ribbons or flowers.
