It worked out that the weather was absolutely perfect that day. We chose Paragon Banquet Centre because we heard so many good things about the food which was important to us, and we loved the look of the hall.” – A&M

Photographer: Lovesprouts Photography (lovesproutsphotography.com) “Our photographers were amazing to work with. I chose them when I saw their work at a wedding show and we were not disappointed. I told them I wanted to enjoy my cocktail hour and mingle with the guests. Not only were they able to get all of the pictures we needed and wanted, but they were able to get us to the cocktail hour at the exact minute it started. We love our pictures and their timeline was precise and kept the day moving perfectly. They were like two friends tagging along taking pictures, and were lots of fun. Our favourite part of the pictures is the brightness of them and how they were able to incorporate the amazing scenes we had to work with.” – A&M

Biggest challenge: “The biggest challenge was having our Limo company we hired for the day go out of business and take our money with them. It is definitely stressful planning a wedding but that threw a whole different level of stress our way. We tackled it by reaching out to other company’s and reading reviews. We ended up going with Brentwood Livery (brentwoodlivery.ca) who was absolutely amazing and they were a great addition to our day – Scott our driver was amazing! It all turned out for the best and it shows that everything happens for a reason- eventually it all works out and it was an amazing day!” – A&M

Fav wedding memory: “Other then of course marrying the man of my dreams, my best memory of the wedding was when our DJ played a song in memory of my father who passed away – during my speech I asked if everyone could join me on the dance floor when his favourite song came on, and when it did come on every single person joined me on the dance floor. It was a surreal moment that I will never forget. Another favourite memory is the adorable moment our daughter walked down the aisle. She was very grumpy and refused to wear her white wedding shoes, and wanted to walk down with her Minnie mouse stuffy. Even though it wasn’t what I had planned, it was the sweetest picture and memory!” – A

Advice from one couple to another: “My advice is to definitely do your research on vendors you hire, and ask all of the questions you need to. We learned that “a great deal” isn’t always the best thing in the end. Do things how you want them and don’t worry about what other people think! I worried so much about little details and if people noticed them and all I heard was positive things about our wedding! Enjoy the day, it goes by so fast!!’ – A
