Jennifer and Jeff wanted and elegant yet rustic feel to their wedding. Taking advantage of the natural elements of stone and wood already at Cambridge Mill and adding in flowers and greenery they were able to make their wedding totally swoon worthy…
Theme: “Rustic yet elegant. Using natural elements such as flowers, greenery and the stone and wood within the Mill” – J&J
Floral Design: Cayla Dittenhoffer of Just Blooms (justblooms.ca) “We used simple white flowers with greenery mixed in and incorporated birch bark vases for our centerpieces.” – J&J
Stationary: Just about every table spelled out a message, thanks to a lovely use of signs – framed text, blackboards, and more. Table numbers and signs were found on Etsy.
“Alex was easy to work with and was knowledgeable when it came to the different photos and stances/lighting, etc. Alex made it seamless to work with, no pressure and was prepared for our timeline.” – J&J
Biggest Challenge:“Keeping up with appointments during a busy work schedule, having to rely on people to get jobs done for us because we like to have our hands into everything we’re doing. Lastly having all the pieces come together at the end and it all working out, the challenge in that was having trust that it would all come together.” – J&J
Best memory: “Other than finally being married was the relief that all the planning was complete and we were both happy with the way it all turned out with no issues.” – J&J
Advice for future couples: “Take your time, enjoy it, do it together, and start planning asap because it creeps up on you so fast.”
– J&J
