Take the stress out of event planning and say yes to a bridal shower at Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory (cambridgebutterfly.com/bridal-showers). From start to finish, the staff team at the Conservatory helps coordinate every detail, making for a stress-free celebration that your guest of honour is sure to remember.
“Our bridal showers are fully catered and our menus are customizable. We have breakfast and lunch options as well as afternoon tea, hors d’oeuvres, and a variety of desserts,” says Cayla VanHouwelingen, Wedding and Event Coordinator.
Costs to have your shower at the Conservatory vary based on the menu chosen and the number of guests. The Conservatory offers a space that can accommodate 10 – 60 people making it an ideal place to host small, intimate showers, as well as larger gatherings. All rentals include tables, chairs, linens and napkins, custom setup, free wifi, and of course, admission to the Conservatory and galleries.
Though bridal showers have traditionally been a Sunday celebration, Cayla says that Saturday showers are becoming more and more popular. As for what time the shower starts, Cayla notes that “most groups tend to book the space from 1-4pm, but we can start as early as 9am if you’re looking to have breakfast with us.”
The Conservatory is gaining popularity as a bridal shower venue because guests love being able to stroll through the free-flying butterflies as part of the experience. “Where else can you stroll through a tropical greenhouse as part of your celebration?” says Cayla, “It’s an added attraction that makes the bride-to-be’s day just that much more special.”
Cayla recommends contacting her to book your date as soon as you can because popular dates fill up quickly. She can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org of by phone at (519) 653-1234 Ext. 112.
