Jaclyn & Josh: A retro, carnival-crazy wedding

We stumbled upon Jaclyn and Josh's wedding photos on thebridesproject.com and fell in love with this ultra-cool, vintage-inspired wedding with brides on The Ring. Their retro fashion, attention to all the fun details, and their and quirky wedding style gave this wedding day a superhero-style personality all of its own. The focus of their wedding was designed around this bride and groom’s fun personalities. They explained, "The easiest way to describe our theme was the anti-princess, nerdy wedding with a vintage flair." From cotton candy trees and super heros to Lego and vintage details, Jaclyn and Josh created a day that no one will soon forget.
 

The ceremony July 13, 2011

To keep their ceremony intimate, Jaclyn and Josh actually tied the knot at London City Hall three days before their wedding reception. It was attended only by their parents.

Jaclyn was determined to feature a local country fair as the backdrop for the wedding photos, which were shot by Casting Memories (based out of Merlin, Ontario). Blenheim Cherry Fest provided the perfect atmosphere offering rides, carnival games and plenty of deep-fried fair food!
