SS_140Randy Fenoli teaches Vancouver brides the "Three E's" of bridal fashion

Exclusive press conference coverage for The Wedding Ring by Justin and Steff of Hyperfocus Photography (www.hyperfocus.ca)

A couple of weeks ago, The Wedding Ring was invited to a media meet and greet with Randy Fenoli, the Fashion Director at Kleinfelds Bridal (New York City) and TLC's popular television series 'Say Yes to the Dress'.

Randy discussed his new book, 'It's All About the Dress', dropping hints straight out of its pages for the lucky wedding and fashion media staff in attendance such as Shaw TV The Wedding Belles, Audrey and Sarah.

Randy has actually been speaking to brides at events all across the country, trying to educate and connect with nearlywed audiences.

The Style & Strut Bridal Event, hosted by DreamGroup Productions, took place at the elegant Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver. Guests were able to mingle with select wedding vendors with a focus on beauty for brides.

After the amazing fashion shows, which focused on designer bridal gowns and fashions from Vancouver Bridal Salons, Randy gave local brides a taste of some of his fashion expertise. He explained the "Three E's" of bridal fashion - educate, elevate and empower - and urged girls to tell their story with their wedding.

Randy stressed the importance, speaking to the receptive crowd of obvious Randy fans, and explained, "Tell that story though the choice of your dress, jewellery, location and décor…"

And when it comes to your wedding, Randy's absolutely fine with brides who want every little detail to be exactly as they imagined it. In fact, he said he doesn't believe in Bridezillas. "Why shouldn't a girl's wedding be absolutely perfect?!'

Randy also announced his upcoming TLC series that will air this summer, called 'Randy to the Rescue'. The show takes Randy's one-on-one fashion approach to the streets by travelling to 8 different US cities with a "pop-up temporary bridal salon" through which he'll meet with girls and help them with their wedding dresses.

Local Vancouver Island bridal shop owner, Fern, of The Bride`s Closet in Nanaimo (reviewed in The Ring), attended with guests she had invited. "We had a great time and Randy really made every woman in the room feel beautiful about herself."
