Magazine "Sneak a Peek" Event!
The Wedding Ring Vancouver Island Professionals Event!

We at the Ring were thrilled to finally be able to show off to all our Wedding Ring Experts what we and they had been working on for the last two months! So we invited everyone who advertised in, photographed or wrote for the new Wedding Ring Vancouver Island magazine to come a take a peek at low res proofs.
Villa Marco Polo Inn (www.villamarcopolo.com) hosted the event and, as always, were superb. Guests were met at the door, coats magically vanished, fancy tea and coffee served amongst the antiques in palatial surroundings! And they even opened up all the guest rooms so that we could all put our curiousity to rest about how all the rooms look!

Sherryl, of Ooh La La Cupcakes (www.oohlalacupcakes.ca), brought dozens of scrumptious mini cupcakes and Deanna, of Deanna McCollum Photography (www.deannamccollumphotography.com) brought camera along with her curiousity, kindly providing us with these photos!
CTV2 sent us Steve, who patiently filmed us all chattering and sipping! And we appeared on the news the following night. Big thanks to Marion of Ma-luxe (www.ma-luxe.com) and Beckie of Bridal Exhibitions (www.ieginc.ca) for all their work on this. Krista, of Prestige Oceanfront Resort (www.prestigehotelsandresorts.com), came to celebrate the Prestige co-sponsering the launch of The Wedding Ring magazine through a Grand Prize at the Bridal Exhibition and to check out the shoot done at the Prestige!
We love that we were able to break the big news to our Experts first that the Shaw TV Wedding Belles were coming to launch the magazine in January! And that we were able to express our appreciation and thanks to everyone who contributed to the magazine. Especially to Nichole of Nichole Taylor Photography (www.nicholetaylorphotography.com) who barely slept a few nights while working on photos and Deanna McCollum Photography, who actually got high res photos to us while on vacation in Mexico!
We hope to have an event up island next year as well as ones in Victoria. Lots of story swapping and networking went on and we really want to repeat this experience! And a shout-out to Neil, of Vivid Photography (www.vividphotography.ca) for not only the cover of the magazine, which we admittedly stalked you for, but also for naming our little event!
