Annie & Daryl: Oceanside romance

Manuela photographed this couple's Winter 2009 wedding at the Grand Sunset Princess Resort in Mexico. Surrounded by gorgeous sun and sandy backdrops, Manuela, Annie & Daryl opted to take advantage of their location and had a tropical trash the dress shoot before returning home.

They kept it casual and fun, walking throughout the resort and stopping whenever they stumbled upon interesting corners. "Needless to say, we eventually ended up by the ocean’s shore and of course, we had to go into the water," says Manuela.

Manuela remembers Annie and Daryl dealing really well with the splashing waves (which sometimes meant getting salty water in their eyes!). Not only did Manuela get sand in her camera, but by the end of the shoot, Annie's dress was a heavy bundle of water and sand.

The good news? The dress survived the experience, and so did this gorgeous husband and wife.

Was it worth it? Looking at these incredibly romantic, fashion-magazine-calibre photos, our votes are already in. Um, YES!
