Seven saucy kissing games!

Expert Tips from Etched in Time

Not everyone is comfortable kissing in front of a large group of people. But whether you're a fan of these games or not, your guests will expect to see the new couple share a few kisses during your meal, so why not have some fun with it?

Reception Kissing Games

Brides share ideas for making the couple kiss

Originating in Europe, the tradition has been for the bride and groom to kiss when guests clink their glasses with silverware. But this tradition has become tiresome for most brides, not to mention, many venues don’t allow you to tap their dishes anymore.

Couples make a production out of their weddings

According to The Canadian Press, there's an increasing trend for just-married couples to add personal flair to their wedding and provide some entertainment for their guests - like staging a dramatic entrance or a choreographed first dance.

The Ring has a review on Urban Bride, which isn't in K-W, but Cambridge (which is still close). Simona, the Owner, says she sells dyable shoes and can take care of dying them for you, too. I'm not sure if this means she dyes them in store or has a place where she can send them to get dyed, but it's worth looking into. Here's the review for more info and her contact info: Urban Bride review (http://www.theweddingring.ca/reviews-in-the-ring/urban-bride) So far this is the only option we've found aside from The Shoe Doctor in Fairview Mall. You may also check out Latinos in Cambridge as we heard from a wedding planner that they might do it as well. Good luck!

I didn't love the Walper when we went to look at it.. Just walking up the staircase and seeing all the paint chipped off the walls & doors.. then in the upstairs "lobby" with the bar.. there were really faded pictures (of children?) hanging on the walls. And the ballroom was so narrow. I also didn't love that parking is not that close (especially for grandparents) and guest would have to pay for it. I was also not a fan that the bar was so far from the dance floor. I am really glad that you have heard good things from people that have had weddings there already. Maybe I am too picky. . We are having ours at 3 Bridges in St. Jacob's. I love the big windows and country setting :)
