Bride Raves for The Ring: Spring 2011
"We have managed to stay relatively local for all of our vendors. We have chosen Taste Fine Foods as our caterers (found them on your website), we have decided to go with Sticks and Stems for flowers (also from your web site)... I also found my wedding dress at She's So Beautiful also discovered on your website!! Not only is everyone realtively local, they all use resources form Ontario including food, flowers..." - Lindsay, May 30 2011
"This site is so fantasic for finding venues and inspiration. Thank you so much!" - Maria H, May 24 2011
"Thanks for all of your hard work putting this site together I am sure others appreciate this, well through through, easy to navigate and gives you support when you did not know it could exist through wedding site... [I like that] it is locally driven." - Jessica, May 13 2011
"Great website, very useful - especially for a bride like me planning a wedding in Toronto but living in Calgary!" - Josie, May 2 2011
"I've relied on and trusted The Ring for EVERY vendor we've hired for the wedding so far: our florist (Pam at Flourish), our photographer (Anne Edgar), our venue (Cambridge Mill). The reviews are so informative and in-depth... it's as if all the investigative work has been done for me! I've already (and will continue to) recommend The Ring to every new bride I meet!! I'm a fan guys!! Keep up the great work!!" - Lisa, May 01 2011

Striking a Few Poses
Yesterday, we gathered together 6 Ring brides, 5 of our fabulous vendors, 2 trays of pastries and endless bottles of hairspray to play dress-up for the day at a photo shoot.
Even though it was early on a Monday morning all the way at Calla Studio in Elmira, everyone showed up at 9 excited to try out some fun and funky wedding day looks for our feature.
The talented crew at Evolution Concepts in Hair & Spa got right to the hair and created six very different hair styles to match their respective themes.
Then the brides were off to make-up with Michelle of Authentic Beauty Services and Erika Snyder, who both matched the styles to go with everything from the hair to the shoes.
But the look wouldn't have been complete without the dresses, shoes, jewellery and headpieces from La Crème; or, without our lovely brides to don it all and pose for Tina at Calla.
Thanks to everyone who came out to help make this shoot possible. Particularly to Shannon, Marissa, Chantel, Brittany, Christie and Christine for donating their days.
Stay tuned for the full story and the end results in the upcoming January-July 2010 issue of Wedding Ring Magazine.
