A master of his craft…

We spent a tremendous amount of time searching for a photographer that would not only provide us with a quality of work that would best capture our day, but also provide us with flexibility when designing our final product. We met with numerous photographers who offered similar services; however what made Kurt stand out from the rest was the artistic approach that he took in his work. Kurt’s portfolio extends far beyond weddings, and what initially attracted us to him were his personal works. We found that many of the photographers that specialize in weddings and engagement shoots provide the same ‘canned’ shots. This was not the case with Kurt, whose truly artistic background allows for out of the box thinking, and provides you with photographs that not only capture the moment, but also the personalities of those who he shoots. Collectively both my husband and I have been in wedding parties, where pictures feel all but ‘rehearsed.’ With Kurt, our sessions felt very natural, unrushed, but most of all unrehearsed. He is not afraid to go with flow, and experiment with different backgrounds, sceneries, mediums, etc… Which we felt very refreshing. This is not to say Kurt does cater to also to more traditional audiences, rest assured our families demanded their share of ‘conventional shots’ and Kurt was more than willing and capable in this area as well. We had the pleasure of using Kurt for both our wedding and engagement sessions, and we would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a creative and flexible alternative to your traditional wedding photographer. Kurt exceeded our expectations on all levels, capturing our big fat Greek wedding, in a way that we never imagined possible. His attention to even the smallest details will leave you with a product that people will be talking about for months after your wedding, our family and friends still rave about the calibre of work that Kurt has produced.
