In the initial meeting, couples chat with Carolina so that she can get a feel for what the couple is looking for and how to make it happen for them. “It’s about them and their vision,” she notes. “We always try our best to keep within their budget and meet their needs.”

Kyle, the head DJ, meets with couples to confirm the itinerary and music selection, and then the Event Firm sets out to do their magic. They are sure to go through every detail so that they know exactly what the couple wants, and they work to help demystify the process for the couple. “We are always open for meetings and are here to answer any questions along the way.”

On the wedding day, at least one representative from each service will be there with the bride and groom, along with Carolina and Kyle who will be on site to ensure the quality of every component. Carolina says, “We want to be there for you on your wedding day so that you know you don’t have anything to worry about.”

August 2011 bride Rebecca told The Ring she really appreciated having The Event Firm there on her wedding day, "My favourite memory was my wedding reception.  Carolina and  Kyle were both at the whole wedding making sure things were perfect.  Kyle was also our DJ and it was phenomenal.  We had so many comments on the music and décor! After Kyle has checked that the microphone for speeches and announcements is ready, he will play cocktail and dinner music. When it comes to the dancing, he’ll take requests and make sure that people have a great time.

Because The Event Firm owns their entire inventory, there is no middleman, which allows them to offer great prices. “Our price sheet provides examples of wedding budgets, but we prefer to bundle all the services together and create a budget that works for each client. We beat the competition’s pricing, sometimes by up to 20%,” Carolina tells us.

Couples usually spend around $2,000 to $10,000 on Event Firm services, though each service is available separately in the case that couples are looking for help with only certain aspects of their day. The fee depends entirely on what services the client needs. DJ services start at $750 and include set-up, delivery, equipment, and take-down, from 5 pm to 1 am.
