Whatever your faith or cultural background, David and Sandra Caldwell can perform a wedding ceremony that fits your feelings and traditions.
The Caldwells are both ordained ministers who served as pastors in Georgetown for seventeen years. Now they say they perform roughly one hundred and seventy-five weddings a year through Country Wedding Gardens. Whether it's your locale or theirs, they have something to offer everyone.
Creating a unique ceremony
David and Sandra (or Sandy as she often goes by) offer a warm personal touch. They enjoy being a part of a couple's wedding from the planning stage to the day itself, creating a ceremony that incorporates your cultural traditions, family tastes, and unique touches. "We design each ceremony to capture the heart of the bride and groom," says Sandy. "Our weddings are definitely joyous."
The process begins with an informal meeting to make sure that you and your fiancé feel comfortable with David and Sandy. Two to three months before the ceremony, they will meet with the two of you again to plan the specifics.
They can help you to write vows that really reflect your relationship, and family members or friends are welcome to participate in the ceremony. David and Sandy are also happy to hold a rehearsal before the big day.
Any faith, or none
David and Sandy can accommodate any religion or background. They have performed Protestant, Catholic, Hindu, Muslim, Jewish and Buddhist ceremonies, as well as non-denominational ceremonies, completely non-religious ceremonies, and blended ceremonies where the bride and groom come from different faiths.
Your choice of location
The Caldwells are happy to travel to the location of your choice. They have conducted weddings at venues across the GTA, including Glen Abbey, the Mississauga Convention Centre, Le Jardin, Greystone, and Glen Cairn.
Or consider holding the event at Country Wedding Gardens, David and Sandy's beautiful property just north of Georgetown, about 40 minutes from the Toronto International Airport. There's a romantic gazebo for vows and a large marquee for receptions, all surrounded by flowers, woodlands and rolling hills.
They can arrange flowers, musicians, photographers, etc., and catering for anything from an elegant sit-down dinner to a casual barbeque. In cooler months, they host intimate weddings in their lovely country home.
The essential details
The Caldwells recommend booking six months to a year ahead for summer weddings, but it is always recommended to contact them with any inquiries.
