Personally Speaking

Brad began his career after graduating from the International School of Broadcasting. From here he went on to work with one of Canada's largest production companies, gaining an extensive background in the music industry.

After finding that friends were constantly asking him to DJ their functions, Brad decided to make it official, and opened up Brad Howell Entertainment Services in 1996. Twenty years later, his company DJ's at about seventy-five weddings each year and has won awards like the Reader's Choice Award.

After so many weddings, Brad says he still loves it as much as he did twenty years ago, "It's the satisfaction that I have been able to keep the dance floor packed, the bride and groom and their guests happy and dancing."

Packages and Pricing

While Brad Howell Entertainment Services offers packages for almost any budget and wedding day vision, the "All request DJ package" is his most popular wedding package.  With this you'll get cocktail, dinner and reception music, as well as basic lighting and assistance with MC'ing (if requested). This package runs at $950.00 (plus HST).

Walking you Through it

The easiest way to get in touch with Brad is to send him and email with your contact phone number so he can get back to you asap.

From here, you'll meet with Brad so that he can get to know you and your musical tastes. Brad likes to keep it casual and stress-free so that he can really get to know you as a couple. He'll help guide you through the process and will offer advice on how to pick the best possible playlist for your wedding. "I advise them to have family and friends review the books (with over 10,000 songs) and create a playlist.  This gives me a more rounded idea of the age groups and likes of the guests.  The more information I can get, the better I can prepare for the evening.  I have also suggested that they include a card in their invitations to have their guests reply with one fast song and one slow song."

On your wedding day, either Brad or one of the other four professionally trained DJs arrive at the reception early to set-up. They'll prepare for everything from the wedding parties entrance, to their duties as MC (if they have been asked to MC). They've even been known to assist other vendors with technical issues (ie. video projection or microphone difficulties) or coach a nervous best man who has been asked to MC.

One past couple told The Ring, "On our wedding day, Brad arrived exactly when he said he would, was fully prepared, and was ready to help out with anything else if we needed it.  His promise was to do what we requested and provide us with peace of mind - and that's what he did."
