With menus made from scratch, Auberge du Petit Prince offers couples the ultimate dining experience in a gorgeous, budget-friendly London setting

When we heard about Nicole Arroyos, Executive Chef and Owner of Auberge du Petit Prince, we knew that we had to share our mouth-watering find with local foodies looking for the most memorable meal on their wedding day.

With an ever-evolving menu that’s made in-house, from scratch, with fresh, local ingredients, Auberge is one of those restaurants you almost always need a reservation for but won’t overpay to dine at once you’re there.  It’s the kind of place that your guests will just have to go back to after your wedding day.

And with six stunning rooms that cater to different wedding sizes and styles, Auberge truly has something for everyone.

Whether you're looking for a ceremony site, reception location or both, Auberge is "it" for the ultimate dining experience on your wedding day. Let us explain.....

From Paris to London....

When you meet Nicole, it’s hard to believe how much she’s already accomplished in her fascinating life. She has exceptionally impressive training under her belt, having studied in Lyon France at Institute Paul Bocuse for two years before she apprenticed in Paris with two world renowned restaurants, under Michelin Starred Chefs. But when it was time to come home, she did so with one goal in mind, “I wanted to create a dining experience like no other in London.”

Nicole believes in good “basic food” made from fresh local ingredients, noting that good food is already good. “I'm not about the ‘frou frou’ when it comes to food… I want my guests to be able to distinguish the different flavours and have fun with it.”

Nicole saw the opportunity to reopen a previously renowned restaurant and make it her own, "food has always been my passion and satisfying the soul through experiences around food.  The reason for opening a French restaurant was predominantly because my training was in France and I love French food! The deciding factor for me was knowing that I could create what I wanted, that I could give something to the city that no one else was doing, a true dining experience, with attention to detail."

And nearly six years later, local couples are thrilled that she did. Set in a gorgeous old home divided into six rooms, Auberge is the perfect setting for an intimate celebration, with space to host anywhere from two to seventy-five guests.

Nicole couldn't be happier, “I love coming into work because each day is so different!  I never know what to expect!  What keeps me inspired is the passion that i have for pleasing our guests and making people remember the experience that they have when dining.”

Fabulous for Foodies....

With a growing reputation for serving incredible food in a unique and elegant atmosphere, Auberge is quickly becoming a top choice for couples that value the importance of a wonderful meal on their wedding day.

Nicole says that they like to keep things fresh, so Auberge is constantly updating their menu with new and innovative choices. But they do have their classics that their guests can't live without; french onion soup, escargot, crepes, duck confit and an amazing selection of desserts.

Kara Deshaw Wickens says her January 2011 wedding was everything she had been dreaming of,"Auberge is a great choice of venue for aesthetics and if food is high on your list, this is upscale      culinary at its best.  Also, they help with a lot of planning and set up, and taking care of day of,            so no need for a wedding planner... they ARE your wedding planners."

So many options....

We love that Auberge has so many choices for couples, from unique rooms to menu selections. There are several price points for weddings, starting at $18 per person, so you can find something that fits within their budget.

You can book Auberge for your cocktail wedding reception, wedding reception, wedding ceremony or, host your rehearsal dinners or bridal shower with them- although we think that after you've sampled their menu, you'll want to book them for everything. Yes, they're that good!

Auberge can also help you with as little, or as much of your planning process as you'd like. Brides that aren't into the little details don't have to worry, "we want you to feel at ease. We will take care of the details so you don't have to. We always aim to go above and beyond every couple's expectations!"

"We have a lot of experience in putting together weddings.  We've taken care of every detail from the flowers to the photographer.  If our clients require any service to ease the planning burden we are happy to provide that service."

An intimate affair

Nicole is noticing that couples are leaning towards smaller, more intimate weddings, giving them the chance to really focus on enjoying their guests company, "it also gives couples more of an opportunity to take care of all of the wedding details and focus on top quality food and service for their guests."

Tastings around town....

You can often see Auberge sharing their delicious creations around town, whether it's a Rogers Television cooking demonstrations, the London Food and Wine Show, the London Health Sciences Centre's Taste Event Gala and Londonlicious

They also participate in Books to eat, Taste for life to raise funds for HIV Aids.

A style that speaks for itself....

Nicole says that when you walk into Auberge they want you to instantly feel at ease and enjoy every minute of your experience, "we want our atmosphere to be warm and inviting."

"Our style is clean with no "frou frou".  We like our food to speak for itself."

She finds that couples who book with Auberge are often looking for a beautiful yet simple wedding. Nicole has however, done everything from traditional to celeb-style weddings and will work with couples on any styles that they've been dreaming of.

"Our couples' styles vary, some are focused on the small details and some just want to show up and enjoy their day!  We are happy to accommodate all our couples!"

Walking you through it...

The best way to get in contact with Auberge is to give them a call or send them an email.

When you meet in person, you'll go over all of your wedding details with their team of chefs and service staff.

Amanda is there to make sure that all of your requests with the set up of the rooms, the layout of tables and ceremony are taking care of.  She also prints the menus and works with the service staff on all of the specifics of your wedding.

Alex and the team of chef’s create a fantastic meal for you and your guests.

Nicole makes sure that everything is pristine and "up to the Auberge standard" and does a final check on everything so that your wedding day is absolutely perfect.

Audrey & Derek Albinger say they couldn't image their day going nearly as smoothly without the Auberge team, "they were AWESOME! Nicole and her team were incredibly easy to work with, always accessible, super supportive, and very flexible. On the day of the wedding the entire staff was amazingly professional and helpful. Many of our guests commented on how well the staff performed their job in such a seamless manner that everyone was well attended to and yet you didn't even know they were there."
