Whether you're looking for a live violinist for your ceremony, beautiful uplighting for the reception, or even help with planning, Allegro has options to suit every couples wedding day vision. Personally Speaking
Olivia and the rest of the team at Allegro started DJ'ing weddings in 2000 and have been doing it for the past twelve years throughout Kitchener-Waterloo and all over Southwestern Ontario.
Today, they DJ at dozens of weddings each year. And while music is their passion, the team at Allegro has experience helping couples personalize and plan their wedding itineraries. They offer free online planning tools, including a custom step-by-step reception planner, music sample lists and song suggestions (how many DJ's can say they do all of that?).
Olivia told The Ring, "We are happy to help with any aspect of wedding planning (not just music). We are happy to emcee, help select songs and give suggestions."
Experience
It's a combination of Olivia's education and experience that lends itself to a style that brides love. With an accounting diploma from Conestoga College, Olivia knows what it takes to run a successful company. She studied music at the University of Waterloo and through the Royal Conservatory of music. She also has experience as a radio broadcaster for a local radio station.

One of our favourite things about Allegro Productions is their commitment to providing music for all types of clients. "We carry a library of over 35000 songs and play off a professional and reliable sound system." They also bring a back-up system, just to make sure that your wedding day is seamless, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Nadine Kelli Van Luxemborg was married May 22, 2011. She told The Ring, "I liked that I was given alot of choices. Allegro Productions had the kind of music I like, as I enjoy a lot of older and newer music. Great selection! She was interested in what I would like and offered suggestions only where she needed to."

If you'd like live music for your ceremony, they've got you covered. Allegro can provide piano and violin music as well. And while they mainly perform music for weddings, they've done everything from school dances and corporate events to New Years parties in Toronto for hundreds of people and fundraising banquets for Olympians.
Marcelle and Robert Lambke say that they had a fantastic experience working with Allegro Productions for their wedding day, "Olivia spent a lot of time listening, making notes of our favorite songs. She went out of her way to get songs that she may not have had in her already huge collection. Our wedding reception at the Elora Mill in January 2010 is still being talked about by our friends and family as the most fun they have had at a wedding. It was all the personal details including the music that made the wedding extra special. Olivia even helped me with surprising my husband during my speech with a song- she hid my guitar and tuned it for me too!"

Over the past few years, Olivia has seen a shift towards more personalized receptions where couples can really express their personalities. In keeping with a more personal theme, Allegro offers a stretch projection screen so couples can play videos and/or a slide show at their wedding.
Olivia says couples are also getting more involved with their music selection by preselecting playlists. Allegro makes this easy with the online form on their website. Here you can select songs, make changes and submit to your list electronically.
Marcelle and Robert say that this set Allegro apart when they were looking for a DJ, "We are not fans of a lot of mainstream music but both have wide and eclectic musical tastes. We really did not want to have a DJ that played the same bad office Christmas party music or who only played what he/she wanted to play. It was so important for us to have a deejay that we felt comfortable with and understood what we wanted for our wedding reception. No one will be disappointed choosing Olivia and Allegro Productions."

One of Olivia's most popular packages is her all inclusive DJ/music package. This includes (but isn't limited to) an unlimited number of hours of service on the day of the event, uplighting, special effects, no mileage or set-up fees and free consultations and support. Right now, this package is on special for $625!
You can also add on extras like live ceremony music for $175 or, have Allegro DJ at your Stag and Doe for $395 (another current special price with Allegro).
And while many couples opt for the all inclusive package, Allegro can customize any package to meet with your wedding day vision and budget.
Laura and Mike say they appreciated Olivia's flexibility in options and pricing, "The cost was on target for our budget and Olivia was very professional. All the options were included if we required them, but we could choose what we did and did not want, e.g. fog machine, bubbles, certain type of lighting."

From here, you'll meet to discuss your wedding day needs and wants. You'll put down a $100 non refundable deposit in order to secure your wedding day (payable by cash or cheque).
Once your date is secured, you can submit your play list and planning forms online at any time before the wedding. You'll get together with Olivia two weeks to a month before your wedding to go over specific details and any changes you might have to your playlist.
On your wedding day, Olivia will set-up an hour before the service and perform sounds checks, "to make sure everything is ready to roll!" If you'd like help with decor or venue set-up, she can help with that as well.
During your reception, Olivia will play your requested list and make sure the crowd is having a great time. She can also take on-the-spot requests if you'd like to give your guests a chance to make requests.
