A&M Sounds strives to set themselves apart from the rest to give London brides what they want

Adrian's twenty plus years in disc jockeying started, where some of the best DJs do - in high school. Adrian started out playing tunes for rowdy teenage crowds on the old school turntable systems. Since those so-called 'old days', his skills and equipment have evolved and adapted to meet the trends and technology required for today's weddings. Creating his own disc jockey service company seemed like a natural progression for Adrian.

Now, celebrating twenty-eight years in business, Adrian tells us that A&M Sounds' focus has always been on giving brides what they want. "In our twenty-eighth year, this is even more of a focus," he adds.

Since his solo days, Adrian has not only built his own disc jockey service, but he's personally hired and trained additional DJs to help him cover the roughly ninety weddings and 60 other events  such as stag and does A&M Sounds services each year. "My DJs have worked with me for over ten years and have countless references to back them up... I insist they know the current top 100 songs and classics from past decades and that they're always appropriately dressed, don't smoke or drink on the job, and conduct themselves in an extremely professional manner."

If you plan to book A&M Sounds Disc Jockey Service for both a Stag & Doe, as well as your wedding, Adrian says when possible he'll send you the same DJ to both functions to ensure they are familiar with your family and friends, and the type of crowd that will be at your wedding. Between himself and his staff, Adrian entertains only three bookings per evening. That means that if you have a date in mind, it's best to book as soon as possible, "We only do three bookings per night but I do this intentionally. If I expand more than that, I wouldn't be able to spend as much time on each event. It's about quality, not quantity for me."

Setting the musical stage

With over 23,000 songs on location at any wedding, you can be assured that your A&M Sounds DJ is coming prepared to your wedding day. They carry a high-end library of music that is always up to date with the most current hits, as well as the classic party tunes from the past five decades. "We always go early to the location to set-up our equipment. We'll never be setting up as guests are there," explains Adrian. He wants to put the most professional face forward and your guests will only notice the DJ when appropriate.  A&M also offers assistance in the areas of Master of Ceremony duties and day of itinerary planning, they have the experience to create a smooth, seamless event.

Decorating up-lighting and Gobos

The use of the latest up-lighting to create the most elegant setting for your celebration is easier than you think

Contact Adrian for information or go to the website to see some samples

It is the most inexpensive way to create a WOW factor at your venue

Gobos- put your name in lights on the wall or dance floor

A helping hand

Sometimes it's hard to even get a human being to answer the phone when calling around for information. At A&M Sounds Disc Jockey Service, you won't have this problem. Adrian is your contact throughout the entire process from the first call to discuss your wedding day details, to the actual wedding, and even after. Adrian follows up after each wedding that A&M Sounds does to ensure that the couple was completely satisfied with their services and that everything went well. Adrian also likes to offer his help with any general planning issues that you may be having. He'll offer some advice if you ask him or if he feels it would be helpful to you.

Equipped to do the job right

Great intentions and a huge music database aside, the music at your wedding won't be perfect unless it sounds perfect. Isn't that what it's all about? Adrian has equipped his company with 3 different types of speakers, each with a backup set in case of problems. Each set is used for various types of locations, depending on factors such as size, acoustics, indoor, outdoor, etc. Adrian says that if he doesn't already know the hall, he will go and scope it out before hand so he knows how to set up the system so each guest will have the best seat in the house for listening. Placement of speakers in a venue plays a large part in the success of the event and this will all be taken care of to insure your guests will enjoy the evening.

It's best to go over all the details possible with any potential DJ that may be doing your wedding... Adrian's experience gives him the advantage of knowing what is needed for any sound and lighting scenario required

Sound systems are made up of I-Mac computers combined with Trakktor sound cards with 8 channel mixing consoles giving you the best sound quality possible combined with Shure 58 microphones and Shure wireless microphones

Back up systems for each system consists of an additional I-Mac 21 inch computer loaded with all the same music and DJ program along with a mixing board and sound card.

No other company can match this standard of excellence, ask yourself ....is this piece of mind?

Stag & Doe parties with A&M Sounds Disc jockey Service

Aside from weddings and after parties, A&M Sounds also specializes in helping couples have a successful stag & doe event. Adrian knows how important it is for these events to not only be fun, but to raise money and keep everyone having a great time. Among other things, A&M offers cash drawers for ticket sales and aprons for the bridal party staff on the night of the event and suggestions for crowd-pleasing food, shooters and especially games. Generally stag and does are in the months of January to April, leaving the rest of the season for the weddings

Adrian can send you a list of venues that allow stag and does with many inside tips too.

The Simple Wedding Ceremony

The guests are all seated, waiting to hear the 'I Do's' and the vows that were so carefully chosen, the Officiant begins and to everyone's dismay, they cannot be heard ... unfortunately, this is a common occurrence and A&M Sounds wants to ensure this does not happen to you!

We are pleased to offer our Simple Wedding Ceremony option to all couples - whether you have booked your reception with us or not!

Our ceremony option is designed to give couples the sound and equipment they need for indoor or outdoor ceremonies from wireless microphones to direct in boxes for live instruments.

How it's done

If you're interested in speaking with A&M Sounds Disc Jockey Service about your wedding, you'll first want to contact Adrian. He knows how important your music is to you. Unfortunately, he notes, some couples don't realize this until after their big day. "When no one is enjoying the expensive late night buffet because they've all left early, ask yourself how much did your DJ cost you."

But finding a DJ that's right for you isn't always as easy as it sounds. Adrian makes his own Frequently Asked Questions sheet available to couples who contact him. The F.A.Q.`s are designed to help them ask the right questions, measure the level of professionalism and help shed light on whether the potential DJ is a good fit for you and your event. He brings up points such as sound quality and which pieces of equipment will be sure to fill your reception space the best way possible. A&M Sounds will make sure that you have what you need and explain why you need it or do not need it!

Adrian typically meets with each couple before the wedding to build a rapport and discuss preferences. He can also set up your entire booking over email or the phone if you can't meet in person or if these options are more convenient. From that first meeting on, he'll discuss details with you about your plan for the evening, what is to happen when, specifics of the location, and of course, your music choices.

A&M Sounds does not have pre-set wedding packages, because he prefers discussing what services you would like to see at your wedding and then developing a package based on your particular needs. Options that will affect the price of your services would include needing ceremony music in addition to the traditional reception music, cordless microphones, remote locations, MC services, up-lighting, wedding planning, decorating, gobos, etc.

For a standard wedding, Adrian says that your price will range from at $750 to $1300 with an average price being about $875 for eight hours of music. If you have a specific budget to work within, Adrian says to give him a call so that he can walk you through your options. Taxes are in addition to above quoted pricing

Couple needs to decide is how important is the disc jockey ,the music, the flow of the evening , the over-all sound and the support leading up to the day. Pricing will play a factor in this final decision. If the above are important to you then A&M Sounds Disc Jockey Service is a perfect fit!!

Ask around and you will hear the name 'A&M Sounds Disc Jockey Service' - whether you ask your venue for a referral, the businesses you are dealing with or take a look at his testimonial page on his website - Adrian and A&M Sounds are referred by many

OMG, What a great night we had at my daughter's wedding. Adrian worked his wonders he kept the night at a great pace. If he was dancer I would say he has all the right moves. As the mother of the bride you hope everyone has a great time and dances the night away and that's how the night went, I still have people telling they haven't danced so much in a long time. It was nice not having any worries, Adrian made the night special. I should mention that we used Him for the stag and doe, that was also a wonderful night, yes we danced and danced and the pace of the night went off great he knew the right songs play at the right time and when to play the games to when to eat. Thanks so much Adrian.

We've hired A&M Sounds on several occasions for Christmas parties and other special events. Adrian does an amazing job at keeping guests on the dance floor and creating a fun and inclusive atmosphere that even non-dancers appreciate. Adrian can read the crowd and adapt the play list on the fly to suit. He incorporates contests and games to keep everyone engaged.

As all of you brides know.. planning a wedding is all about DECISIONS!! its hard to make them.. we looked at several caterers photographers, florists..and you always try to pick the right one, the one you trust, which isn't always easy.
This week we decided that we were going to start looking at D.J's we called Adrian, made an appointement, this was last night. I knew that we were going to book him that night after talking with him for five minutes, which is very unusual for me! He made us feel so comfortable, talked us through everything, gave us pointers on what to expect for an outdoor wedding. There wasn't any question that he could not answer. He CLEARLY, knew what he was talking about!
we were both confident that Adrien was the DJ we wanted to spend our wedding with. Looking forward to working with you, thanks for all your help!

My husband, Jess and I went with A & M Sounds for both our stag and doe and our wedding, just a couple of weeks ago at The Old Court House. Phil did a great job at the stag and doe and Adrian definitely helped in maintaining a fun, relaxed and very comfortable atmosphere for our guests and for us.

Our choice was an easy one...It was starting to become overwhelming, hearing from different companies who see you as another booking...When I met Adrian, he was extremely friendly, informed me of some issues that may arise due to the location of our venue, and offered his phone number to help our DJ, should we go with another company. From the time we booked, we felt comfortable with the choice and were extremely happy to have Adrian's support, suggestions and expertise.

We met with Adrian a couple of weeks before the wedding and he sat down with us to take our LONG list of guest song requests, hear what was important to us and to get a feel for the kind of atmosphere we were looking for. He definitely made the night about us and not about what he thought was best for us.

Adrian definitely went above and beyond to make everything extra great; During a speech, a song was mentioned and immediately following, he played a clip of the song...It's the little details that make it just that great! Throughout the night, he continued to help us feel relaxed and he really seems to always have a smile on his face and a kind word to say.

We've received so many compliments about the dinner music, the great song selections and the professionalism that Adrian showed, while still being exceptionally friendly with our guests. I would unhesitatingly recommend A & M Sounds to any of my friends or family. We're so happy with the way both the wedding and the stag and doe went; two celebrations in need of great music!

Adrian was the DJ for my wedding in Oct in London. Music is really important to my husband and I, and Adrian exceeded our high expectations and hopes. We had a lot of music requests and specific songs to be played at certain times, and the night could not have gone any smoother! The dance floor was packed all night, and Adrian made sure he played all the music requests, even the really random stuff!

Adrian looked and acted like a true professional, start to finish. He came outside while I was waiting in the Limo with my bridal party to introduce himself and tell me that everything was ready to go. He played a wide range of music that kept everyone dancing, from oldies, fun 80's and 90's stuff, to the latest hits. My husband and I are still talking about how great he was! There were many special touches (my maid of honour mentioned a U2 concert we had gone to together, and after her speech he played a U2 song!!) - I would highly recommend Adrian and A&M for your wedding - don't look any further!!
