Ted and Meghan met nearly a decade ago working together as lifeguards at the local Rec Centre. They were fast friends until roughly five years ago when that friendship was changed by Ted who stole a midnight kiss on New Years! And if you ask them, they'll both admit they have been madly in love ever since, even though that meant finding ways to manage a long distance romance while each finished their education.

Tamara met Brock in high school but it wasn’t until a friend was trying to set her up that she really noticed him. Except Brock wasn’t the intended ‘set up’! After some mutual flirting, ten years of dating began. However, they did decide to take a break and travel for a year without each other after finishing university. “That was when we knew for sure,” says Tamara “We realized how much we needed each other and that was that!”

Kirsten and Bryan met through a friend while at the University of Toronto. They hung out together from time to time but it never crossed their minds to be more than friends. One night they were the only two amongst their friends who were planning to attend a conference. They went for drinks afterwards and, by the end of the evening, things had changed.
