Community Gallery: Photobox Photography | Some of the best memories are captured when couples have fun with their photo shoots

While romance and beauty are the essence of many weddings, London photographer, Kristen Wilson of Photobox Photography, (www.photo-box.ca) shows brides in The Wedding Ring that having fun in front of the camera often means fun times and amazing photos. In her community photo galleries, she features one quirky couple, Roy & Ashley, as they pose, laugh, kiss and make faces for the camera, from engagement shoot to the wedding day.

Roy & Ashley's engagement shoot took place in October 2009. Kristen loved their enthusiasm and fun-level. And the result? Great pics filled with unique poses and genuine smiles that send all the right messages.

Seven months later, in May 2010, Roy & Ashley tied the knot. Their photos caught both their relationship and creativity on film, such as Ashley receiving her gift from Roy (a vintage edition of The Joy of Cooking), the "first look" of the bride before the wedding, and the bride and groom calming each other down - pre-ceremony - with a reading from a cute children's book.

"They laugh together. A lot," says Kristen. "They have inside stories and sayings, and they share a world together all their own. They are best friends."

And even though the day was actually cold, pouring rain and filled with sideways winds, you'd never know it. Kristen says it was a great wedding.
