Andrea Jelly and Luke Nixon-Janssen have known each other since they were teenagers in Dorchester, Ontario. But it wasn't until they met again years later in Toronto that they wondered if there might be something more to it than friendship.

Andrea remembers opening her fortune cookie at the end of the meal and it saying she would reconnect with an old friend. After meeting in two different times in their lives and in two separate cities, Andrea says, "I suspected at that point that maybe it was a weird sign from the universe letting me know this was going to be something bigger. We became inseparable almost right away and moved in together a year later."

Andrea and Luke say they're best friends. Luke loves Andrea's willingness to try anything once and her ability to keep him both grounded and on his toes, and Andrea says it's Luke's generosity with his friends and family and his enthusiasm for life that won her heart. "He is always up for a new adventure. We love spending time together - from gardening in the back yard to traveling." Five years later, Luke came home from a trip to Australia with a ring in his pocket and proposed.

Together they planned a wedding that incorporated the things, fashion and people they love most.

Their wedding party alone had fifteen attendants including six on the groom's side, seven on the bride's, and two junior bridesmaids.
